To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I have loved the Spice Girls since their worldwide recognition in the mid 1990's and I still enjoy listening to their music today. I finally own the album that includes my all-time favorite Spice Girls song: 2 Become 1.I never owned the first album, so buying it was first on my shopping list. I have only one problem with the item when it arrived and that problem is the two cracks in the jewel case. They don't do anything to negatively affect my love for this album, but I wish that FedEx (or UPS, whoever shipped it, I can't remember) took greater care with fragile items during shipping.Everything else is in perfect condition, so I'm assuming that this was a rare accident.

I bought this for my sister for Christmas and she freaked out she grew up listening to them and recently got into collecting albums so adding this to her collection was amazing
I've listened to every song on this album hundreds of times. If you were a pre-teen girl in the early 90's this was THE ALBUM! My personal favorite song is "Who Do You Think You Are" and I smile every time I hear it. It's feel good music that makes you forget all the cares in the world while you're listening to it.
Plays great and I've had no issues with the Vinyl. I am still a huge Spice Girls fan. I believe we will never get another world tour, only rumors of tours. I still collect all albums and collectibles of them 20 years on. I like Love Thing, If you can't dance and Something Kinda Funny on this album besides the obvious hits we bought it for.
I listen to all kinds of music. From classic country and southern rock to beauty and the beast metal to faire music and Dixieland jazz, I listen to pretty much everything. The only genre that I have a tendency to avoid is pop music, with just a few exceptions over the years. These exceptions include Cher, Pink, Kesha, Huey Lewis and the News, and Elton John, among others. I have no problem telling people that I often crank up "Die Young" and "If I Could Turn Back Time," and do so frequently whenever I'm discussing music with friends. I'll often use some heavy-handed reason for appreciating these artists (Pink has a strong work ethic and positive attitude, for instance), but every once in awhile I love a band for no reason other than for the fact that they are fun.
The Spice Girls are fun.
Sure, they have that whole "Girl Power" message thing going for them, but ultimately their music just makes you want to dance around and be silly for a bit.
I was in college when Spice was released, and I remember the instant shame I felt among my peers whenever I revealed to them that I enjoyed the band. I developed crushes on all of the members of the band at some point (but Sporty and Baby will always have my heart), and I knew the lyrics to all of their tracks. A few weeks after my revelation to my friends, I had no shame at all proclaiming that I was a fan of the Spice Girls.
The album itself is a very solid pop project. The anchor tracks are obviously "Wannabe" and "Say You'll Be There," but every song on this album is good in its own right. The only tracks that are somewhat lacking are "Naked" and "If U Can't Dance," but even they add to the strength of this album in their own way.
I won't waste any time going into an in depth discussion of each track. This is a pop album, after all, and depth is something that isn't always necessary for a great pop album. This is fun, danceable music that is apparently timeless, since my fifteen year old daughter belts out many of these tracks with me as we're cruising down the highway.
If you love feel-good pop tunes, you're going to love Spice. It's an excellent pop album that will still be playing long after I'm gone.
Very happy, the version I got played all the way through and sounded great! No issues or complaints from over here. Hopefully the one I got my sister for christmas is also in this great of condition lol
