To get a lot out of it you need to put a lot in, after all its your life we are talking about.

So you must know that the company is not around anymore. They was a Dot Com bubble that did not make it. (My thoughts)
However the program does work even without having the company around. You will not get the option to publish to it web site. But you can save the file local and make a desktop presentation which is an HTML site like page. You can publish locally only the pages that you want or your whole project.
You can add Pic’s, Vid’s, and Voice recordings that can help you tell your story. I like to use Dragon naturally speaking, in Word and then copy them over to my Project.
Now for the Install part of the program. This Program was written for Windows 98 and 2000 time line. And as such it will have some problems installing on a OS that has Windows Media Center installed. That is the error that others have reported. To get around this do not have that installed.
If you can get a copy of Windows XP or Windows 7 without it you are good. That is called Windows 7 N. Windows 7 Professional N x64 bit. Is what I am using to run my software on.
I do not update the Windows OS, it is a virtual system running on VMware Workstation 10. I just use it to run this software and publish parts of my project.

The program asks questions and has a spot to check in with your feelings too. If you do that, and then write, add audio, or photos and stuff to flush out you, and your way of thinking… the project comes alive with your story unfolding. You do get out of it what you put in.
The default setup of the program has I think more than 100 Cards (pages) that have titles like:
Who Am I? Who have I been? My family biography, the world and my life, I will always remember. And a lot more. This program came out long before Face Book, and maybe at that time it was not as cool to publish your life to the web, or to a local desk top. But today with how much we all share it seems more relevant then before. And speaking of Face Book, I do not use it. I like this program because I get to control who get to see the parts I publish, my family get to see our family time line and biography, but is not out on the internet for all to see. That is just me.

Please note this is just as good as it looks, but was made for WINDOWS 95/98... if you want to run it on TODAY's PC's you need to go two Microsoft's web site and search for the 45 day trail of their software to allow you to run older programs (you can buy it after the 45 days is up).... OR If you have Windows 95 or 98 this will run perfectly for you.

Excellent product despite reviews of protest from people that don't know how to load the product. It does work in WINXP, but the is no support available for this product as the production company is out of business and since moved on...sad!

This is terrible...no support available anywhere! I cannot load the software onto my computer. I continue to get error message that the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. good luck trying to get this on the computer. it looks great from the example.
