The D-Link DI-804 is a home and small business residential gateway with four switched fast 10/100 Ethernet ports. It allows multiple computers to share a cable or DSL Internet connection. It provides security as a firewall between a local network and the Internet, and is targeted at small businesses and home users.
The DI-804 allows up to 253 computers to simultaneously connect to the Internet through the same ISP account. It employs a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) that provides dynamic allocation of IP addresses for up to 253 clients on your network. This very flexible unit will connect to any Ethernet device and multiple types of machines and operating systems.
The D-Link DI-804 provides the safety and security of a port-blocking device and serves as a natural firewall as well as offering integrated NAT support that allows up to 253 users to share a single Internet connection. It provides the function of DHCP, and it supports server/client relay. It also provides Web configuration, which users can set up quickly.

Also, someone else posted about only being able to map certain well-known ports through the firewall (FTP, HTTP, etc.), with no capability to do it by port number. The solution is to use the optional Telnet interface, which allows mapping by port number.
What I realy like is the backup capacity. I use it hooked up to a cable modem, and use an ISDN line for backup. Works lovely.
There are other things that I'd like to have found, like an easy way to block the access to some addresses, and DMZ handling too. Anyhow worths every cent.
