Excellent taste, slow-creeping heat, and doesn't change the flavor of the dish

This is by far my favorite hot sauce that I use as one of my secret ingredients to my spicy, home-made beef jerky. It adds heat without changing the taste or flavor of my jerky. It has a slow burn, and many who have tried my jerky initially thought it wasn't spicy at all... until the slow burn creeps in and they are wowed by the extra KICK.

Most of my friends and family cannot handle more than 2 drops in their soup bowl -- it's THAT spicy!

The only complaint I have is that the eye dropper plastic actually DISINTEGRATED on me the first time I purchased it. I'm not sure how or why, but my best guess is that the sauce ate through the eye dropper when I transported it to and from work on a daily basis. I have since separated the content into smaller glass bottles so that I can leave one at home and one at work. Also, do not leave the item in the refrigerator. Doing so may have contributed to the disintegration of the eye dropper.

This second time around, I'm storing the product in a dark, cool pantry. [UPDATE 1/1/2018: the sauce did not eat through the dispenser this time. However, the potency of the sauce seems to deteriorate over time.]

Very strong capsacin product

I can't conceive this as a food product, this is weaponized !. . I use it in Deer Repellent Spray with other components and it is perfect if only the spray would stay on the plants longer than two weeks. . Be sure to wear gloves, and wash hands thoroughly if handling even the dilute end-product. Your eyes and tender-parts will teach you this. .

Do not use fine spray and definitely pay attention to wind direction. Does MACE conjure up an image?

Extra kick without all the fuss

Just what I was looking for. I store my bottle upright in a kitchen cabinet, and I haven't had any of the trouble with the top dissolving as others have had (and I've had this for about 6 months now). It's possible the dissolving rubber issue is more of a problem if you're carrying this around and liquid is sloshing up into the rubber stopper, but I don't know. Really happy with it personally, and haven't had any problems others have mentioned with the dropper. I use it for cooking black beans and adding a little extra kick - works absolutely perfectly.

I carry a bottle of this with me everywhere, adding a few drops to food when needed. The name "Pure Cap" is somewhat deceiving, as it is not pure capsaicin, it is capsaicin mixed with vegetable oil. Pure capsaicin is crystalline, and closer to 16,000,000 scoville, rather than the 500,000 in this. At first I was confused by the dark brownish-red color of the drops, because capsaicin is colorless, but now I think it is intentional. As coloring isn't listed as an ingredient, I'm guessing the coloring comes from the type of vegetable oil used. Anyway, I've found the color to be very helpful in determining where the Pure Cap is in the food, and helps me mix adequately. You definitely don't want to discover that you just ate a bite with a whole drop.
My main complaint with this product is the rubber on the dropper. After a couple of months it starts to deteriorate and deform. It starts to weep pure cap, so using gloves when touching the dropper is recommended. It doesn't burn when it gets on your fingers, but it does when you touch your eye a few hours later. I just bought a small dropper bottle to transfer the remains of the Pure Cap to, so it will be a while before I learn if the problem is with this specific product's rubber, or if it is caused by the contents and some sort of reaction.

Love this...I like a spicy drink. Jalapeno is often not reliably hot enough & has a green pepper taste. It has a very peppery taste without changing the flavor. It has a slightly red color oil with what appears to be pepper chunks. It's double bottled and enough to last forever.
I put a drop in the bottom of the glass.. Since it had a warning about strength, I took a corner of a paper towel to stop up about half... so 1/2 drop. I put 1/2 glass cranberry juice, striped it and filled with ice and diet tonic water. It's amazing. It will be great in bloody Mary and shaken with ice, Patron Silver in a martini glass.
If you don't drink alcohol, it will make wonderful mocktails with a kick.
I can imagine it would be wonderful in sauces and even desserts like spice cake..
BE CAREFUL...IT IS VERY, VERY, VERY, HOT... A little goes a long way

Put this in the red skull glass dropper bottle. Here on Amazon and then use it in my very elaborate home bar for mixing spicy drinks. The two is a great effect. Only one drop is a very hot warm sensation in a 4-6oz mixed drink iced. 2 drops is two much for about 80% of the public. And so on. Great stuff, I wouldn't goto a high scotsville unit item if your using it like this. One drop is already too hot for about 30-40% of people. Anything hotter is therefore a waste since no one you mix for will drink It most of the time. Better to have the ability to regulate. Highly recommended
