Gentle on the ear
This is very gentle on the ear. I used it three days a row and my ear feels completely fine. For context, a few days ago, I felt a little discomfort in my ear. When I felt it, there was a very small but painful boil in there. So, I googled quickly and found this product.Why I chose it was because it was GMO free and gluten free, made from grapefruit oil, which seemed like a more homeopathic medicinal approach for me. I’ll probably use this for a long time since you only need about 2 small drops per use, per ear. The smell is also nice, not pungent, so I appreciate that. The oil itself is reasonably thick but not in a disgusting way; and honestly for something entering your ears- the lighter the better, for comfort.In all, I'm so satisfied and reviewed this at Five stars.

    Have seasonal allergies (all 4 seasons!) plus one ear had piece of earwax fall onto ear drum a year ago and dr. removed and gave me Intratympanic steroid injections to help recover the resulting hearing loss, but I was still left with some permanent damage. Now that ear is more sensitive, it seems to swell resulting in water getting trapped more easily, plus both ears become itchy, irritated and sore - keeping me awake at night. Kind of like a yeast infection feeling. was trying different things (drying with alcohol, homemade garlic oil with olive oil) and was so desperate one night I even rubbed warm melted soy candle wax in that ear (not deep) and it actually helped! but saw these when searching for natural remedies and these Nutribiotic drops helped relieve the itching and burning right away - the thickness is annoying, it takes a while for the thick drops to get down into the ear canal, but it coats the skin and gives immediate relief. My ear was so bad it burned a bit at first, but also tickled - and really felt better - Then it slowly helps dry the water deep in canal (there is some alcohol) and daily treatments greatly helped my condition which had been escalating for weeks. I never had severe pain, so it did not seem like enough of a problem to go to doctor, and I feared more injections would be prescribed. Dr.’s tend to hit problems with sledgehammers (so to speak), and I prefer to avoid heavy medication which always have side effects. plus it would come and go - (fluctuating with allergies) - so this stuff was awesome, highly recommend keeping on hand for mild to moderate ear issues, or to use while waiting to get into the dr. - softens ear wax too, may help with cleaning ears.

    (Fyi as a side note: For major ear wax clogs, I do recommend those kits with sprayers using drops then warm water spray - I have used with great success on a friend and it really works!)

    I have been suffering with eustacean tube congestion in my right ear for over a year, causing discomfort and hearing loss. Everything sounded muffled in that ear. After countless visits to my family doctor, an allergist and an ENT I had no relief from the decongestants, etc. that were prescribed.     My right ear has been constantly popping, feels like it's filled with water and fairly painful for about a month. My left ear has had some same symptoms, but fairly infrequently. Since I teach swim classes every moring, I needed to find something that would relieve the pain quickly. I ordered Nutribiotic ear drops solely on the few good reviews it had on Amazon. $6 isn't that bad, let's give it a shot!

    Let's start with packaging... there was no packaging to speak of. Just the bottle itself came in a larger box with a few other (unrelated) items I purchased. I was kind of expecting it to be in it's own box with an instructional pamphlet. That being said, it was a bit difficult using the drops for the first time. Through a little trial and error, I figured out the tip was sealed and had to use a sewing pin to poke a few holes through the top.

    As far as use, it's been great. I've only had it for a day now and the one use (2-3 drops) in my left ear has completely alleviated the pain. I knew my right ear was going to take a bit more treatment. After three treatments, the water feeling has disappeared and the popping/pain is now inconsistent. I'm hoping with a few more treatments my right ear will clear up just as well as my left.
    The only issue I have with the product itself is the drops are on the thick side. The feeling bothered me enough that I removed the residue with a q-tip after a minute or so the first time I used it. The thickness of the drops took some time to get used do.

    Overall, the Nutribiotic is working out wonderfully. Hopefully, with continued used, my right ear will be cleared out as well as my left has.

    I'm no stranger to NutriBiotic products. I already use their natural antibiotic and have for years. It's a fantastic alternative to prescription meds and the cost. Recently I had a rare bout with an annoying earache that wouldn't quit. I tried warm compresses and some over the counter ear drops to no avail. The last time I had an earache many years back I went to a doctor who soaked me for my time and money with an ear test. Of course they didn't find anything, and he gave me some prescription ear drops that did the trick. I decided to try this brand for I had such success with their other supplement, and I didn't care to make some doctor richer by wasting my time when I just needed ear drops again. Now thats its been about two weeks, all I can say is I am sold on this stuff. My ear started to feel better within 48 hours and the pain completely eased over the next couple of days. I used it morning and night for 5 days and now feel great. Though its true that this formula is a little thick, I found it very soothing and completely non greasy. In my opinion it is a far better alternative to at least try before heading to a doctor. Especially if you have kids. I will keep it in my medicine cabinet always now, and highly recommend that you do too... : )

Made its way into my ear canal and I had to use one of those blue bulbs at the drug store to flush it out several times because it began to interfere with my hearing. It seemed to help some but I ultimately found a different product that worked for me and eliminated the itchy crusty issue I had! (Burows solution)
