I have rented and seen perhaps 30 videos concerning the reasons for our involvement in Middel Eastern conflects. This "The Peace DVD", is far and away the most percise, and well explained, documantery I have seen on this subject to date. I think everyone, in the house and senate, should review this DVD and report to the American People, on their justifications

for voting for our involvement, in this unholy & genesidal, conflict.

May God have mercy on our souls, for truly it is, "We The People" who will be judged, if not, for our direct involvement, then shurly by our complacence.

If anybody has ever wondered what the thought processes of a self-righteous leftist are then I wholeheartedly recommend that they give this documentary a bit of their time. Every conspiracy theory found on the left side of the spectrum is on display here. I'm a little surprised at my fellow reviewers because they do not appear to have noticed that this film is entire based on interviews solely conducted with figures of the far left. Why would this be the case? Is the director that afraid of ideological diversity that they cannot allow for the expression of views contrary to their own? There is absolutely no attempt here to be fair and balanced; which is a concept of ridicule when it is expressed by Fox News but it is never practiced by radicals when they want to get their point across. Gore Vidal proclaims that Fox is an avenue that "screams and screams and screams" but that station always has on experts representing the leftist perspective.

Most of the ideas in this film are distortions and untruths. We find that Bush stole the election in Florida because he and Jeb disenfranchised 91,000 black and Hispanic voters because...they were black and Hispanic. Um, no, those individuals were convicted felons and there's no reason why criminals who declare war on the citizenry should be allowed to vote. We hear that 9/11 was all about oil and Haliburton as opposed to terrorists. We even find that overthrowing the Taliban was a bad idea...and about oil too. The main "investigative journalist" even blames Bush for the Khobar Towers attacks despite the fact that they occurred in 1996. For those who don't know, George W. Bush was not inaugurated until 2001. Bill Clinton's eight year passive stance with Al Qaeda is not even mentioned. The Peace! fails at every level as portraying your opponents views dishonestly creates propaganda as opposed to history. This movie was an embarrassment from beginning to end as the filmmakers "evidence" relies on the opinions of radical icons--like Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, and Gore Vidal--and no figures from the center or right at all. This movie is a joke and an appalling corruption of history.

Oh my gosh.. I love this movie. Something about it makes me feel good inside. For me.. I just have to watch it once every week or so. Rarely go more than a month without watching.
