It worked like a charm.
The old expression "Who put that bug in your ear?" comes to mind. But it's no bug. This specimen of waxy buildup in the ear canal was the culprit. Leave it to this "hand bulb ear syringe" to put the ear back into service. A few minutes of repeated pressurized irrigation with plain water on the far side of warm did the trick. What a relief to hear plainly with my two ears again.

This long diatribe with its incorrect grammar and run on sentences could be inspiring...I wish you all the joy life can offer.

My ear was clogged for 9 weeks. It was maddening and I had to wait to get into the doctors office. He had given me special drops for the ear but it didn't help. A week before the specialists visit I received the bulb and did a nightly rinse, very gently with warm water. Then I put the special drops in, hoping that it would help the specialist. It did! Now I hope to NEVER NEED IT AGAIN! LOL

Good product, shipping took awhile but thats ok. I would buy the two piece if they have it because those things can be used for other stuff. When I was a kid the bulb mom used for our noses and ears went unused until one day I found a duck that was injured. I was 4. We were at dads grave and near the grave was a pond. In the middle of the Mallards that were swarming on the side of the pond. In the middle of the 'duck puddle' ,beside the pond, was a white, domestic duck. They had pecked his feet to the point of having holes in them. Mom didn't know where I was or what I was doing, she was cleaning around dads headstone. Then I walked up to her, holding the duck. It was only a few inches smaller than I was and she took a picture that I now cherish. We took the duck home to our suburban house and let it swim in the bath tub for the week, Once its feet got better we took it to my uncles farm.

I used that bulb to feed it. The duck was full grown but it was weak so we mixed corn meal, sweet peas and water to make a slurry. I would put the bulb at its beak and after the first feeding he didn't need coaxing. Birds can aspirate, inhale food, so you have to either let them eat from the ground or a shallow pan or be very careful with the bulb. I would hold it with the hole down and let gravity cause the start of a drip. The duck would peck at it and once we both knew it would work I was the selected human, selected by the duck, so I was the one who fed it.

This story is 100% true but I wrote it the way I felt it at the time. I was always finding words that adults couldn't believe I could say. Over the years I talked to many, many animals that needed assistance and I helped them with all the love I could give. I even had a humming bird land in my palm, panting from the heat and need of nectar. When I released it four hours later, I told it to bring family next time. It did. Since then we have "The Race Track", nectar feeders around the house. They fly from one to the next, battling it out for their
turf'. I did what I do, talk, offer water at first then what it needed to survive. Birds are the hardest to rescue but my duck, Buck, was the best domestic animal I saved. Sweetpea the Wood Dove was the most endearing and my baby orphans...all the years caring for orphans the coons and possums and the Red Shouldered Hawk. There are only three types of animals I never had the opportunity to save or make better lives for, coyotes, Blue Jay and other protected song birds, and large water birds like Heron or Egrets.

I am old and ill now. The animals still come to my yard season in and season out. We feed the ones we are allowed to, making sure the food they eat is good for them....no white bread! I love nature and right now I can hear The King singing out my window, a chipmunk asking for nuts.

Blessings to you and yours. If you can, volunteer to plant Native Plants to help preserve what little land humans haven't ruined. Or, offer to collect goods for Rehabbers. You can find them through pretty much any Veterinarian. If you don't want to help wild animals, foster domestics. The trend of having a pet to boost YouTube subscribers has caused an explosion of mill animals. Mutts are the bets though...less inbreed medical conditions.

I have to say this though. If you decide to foster wild orphans, make sure you learn everything you can about them. An animal can be dangerous to your and people you love. If they are listed as Zoonotic, they carry illness that can be passed to humans. Like I always say, don't do it unless you are informed. Besides, you just want to help...not hurt yourself, the animal or those you love. So learn before you open your heart to them. They will surprise you. Animals and humans are very much the same. Stick to those that can show compassion, learn their language of sounds and body movements. You will find that talking to the animals is not just a fun trick, it is real.

That reminds me... check out BilliSpeaks on YouTube. This proves that even cats can understand and return full explanations about what they want or feel. They can even prove they love you.

    Peace....

better then nothing but quite frankly its like spitting into the wind a waste of time but it was cheap and worth a try and will not harm your ears ..

I get a lot of wax buildup in my ears and I was taught to flush out my ears with a solution of hydrogen peroxide and warm water when I was a child. I say this because in general it seems things were better made many years ago. I find that when I have to replace something I'm never as happy with the replacement.

This is one item where I actually AM happy with the replacement! Oh happy day. This works as well as the one I had forever. It will require a "re-squeeze" if you're determined to use every bit of liquid inside, but that was the case with my old one as well. I've had no trouble using this for ear flushing at all. Maybe there are ways to flush ears without the dreaded "re-squeeze", but I'm not personally familiar with what they are so I don't count that against this product.

I'm happy with it and likely won't need to purchase another.

This is really bulky and awkward to use for our purpose. It doesn't really have good suction as expressed by another reviewer. We use it for cleaning cats ears and too often you have to "re grip" the bulb to get the product to dispense. We thought the size would allow more pressure with the flow of the ear wash but it just makes the process complicated. You almost need two hands to use it and as our cats are not inclined to cooperate, one hand it engaged in maintaining the head lock.

🌸Review for hand bulb ear syringe 3 oz...
Seriously! When I receive this I thought it was for a goat! This ear bulb syringe is huge!
    Here’s the thing… It’s an excellent syringe.
I didn’t know it had so much suction power.
And it didn’t damage my ears or anything like that.
When you first receive this please do not be surprised that it’s huge!
I literally thought it was for small farm animal!
It works wonderfully with ear cleaning solution.
I’m pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product. And I will purchase it again. (It probably could be used for a small farm animal) Smiling in quarantine.
I was not paid for or compensated in anyway for this review.
Please do not place small farm animals on my porch. (I live in a rural community)
Thank you Amazon.com for an interesting and wonderful purchase! 🌸

I got this because my dog developed a cold. I’ve never, ever had a dog who developed a cold before, and she was suffering, so I thought I’d try this to clear her nostrils. The suction is non existent. Since the suction didn’t work (I’ve had others before that worked beautifully, but this Chinese crap didn’t even suction with any strength at all), I had nothing to clean. It doesn’t perform like you would expect. It was easy to use, in theory, except, it doesn’t suction. It doesn’t make a sound. It does fit comfortably in your hand, so for show, it’s good. For function, it sucks. LOL.

I had a bit of trouble hearing out of one ear so I went for a free big box store hearing test. The tech said I needed to clean wax out of one ear. This thing to the rescue. Sorry about the gross pic but wow the thing that came out!! I should get it made into a ring or something. For about $5 I avoided a doctor visit and a $1500 hearing aid!
