My husband and I love this show! Very entertaining--especially since it's true. There is some humor sprinkled in the reenactments so I think the producers of this show definitely have a sense of humor and in some cases seem to be mocking the criminals who are telling their stories. You will be amazed at how easily some of these criminals evaded the law for so long.

I only purchased the one episode, but it was well worth it. I love watching the lengths these two boys went through. They had fun and their story is so funny. They evaded the police at every turn and only got caught when they realized they were tired of running.

It's a good series, but not everything you see is true in these different programs that you can watch. I do have a favorite show in this series that I've watched more than the others even though they're good as well. Planning on getting another series to add and watch.

This series on Investigation Discovery is hard to get unless you have a higher level of cable channels. But it's worth it to so these guys - and girls, try to run and run from the cops. Seeing them talk on the show is the best part, along with great re-creations!

It's the absolute audacity of Steven Russell makes this story so fascinating and in a weird way someone that wins a certain kind of admiration. He is now serving something like one hundred and forty years without committing a violent crime. Escape from Texas prisons on four occasions and you will pay for their embarrassment. I have the book "I love you Phillip Morris" on order. As for the movie version I didn't bother. Once I learnt Jim Carrey was involved I knew he'd slaughter it and apparently by the reviews I've read it was poorly recieved. This doco at least does justice to the Steven Russell story. Like the Leonardo Dicaprio movie "Catch me if you can" Steven Russells story is both amazing and funny at the same time.

These are the facts behind the film "I Love You Phillip Morris." I thought this doc was just as interesting as the film. The episode had less to do with the lovers' relationship than the film does. What really stood out to me was the thickness of the narrator's Canadian accent. He doesn't say "abooooooot" but every word that rhymes with it is said that way. I know a rainbow-flag man that did some time and is good at lying. I'm gonna make sure to show this doc and Carrey's film to him. I think people of all sexual identities will find this fascinating.
