I bought the entire first and only season of Come Fly With Me on Amazon. It's a comedy show that takes place mainly at the airport.
I never intended on watching all 6 episodes in one night but that is exactly what I did. I just couldn't stop watching.
I think David Walliams and Matt Lucas are extremely talented in how they are able to portray so many different characters. I know they've also done the same in Little Britain (another one of my fave shows), but that is what makes them and their work so special.
Each episode of Come Fly With Me is about 25 minutes long and throughout the six episodes, you get to see the same characters. The situations are so unrealistic that it's really funny.
I appreciated some characters more than others (such as the photographers and the married couple--their story line got a bit stale after a while), but this is still a very, very funny show.
Since watching all 6 episodes, I found myself returning to bits of certain episodes whenever I am feeling blah or had a rough day. It is a charming pick me up.
I highly recommend it and look forward to Season 2.

Anyone who enjoyed the work of of David Walliams and Matt Lucas on their previous shows will enjoy this DVD. It is a small investment to get all 6 episodes. This is like a reality type show of different characters working in an airport. If you enjoyed Little Britain or Little Britain USA you will enjoy this show. The special features on the DVD were slightly dissappointing compared to other dvds. Little Britain USA for example had commentary of each episode, and I was slightly dissappointed to find out that David and Matt had not done commmentary over the two disc, 6 episodes that is Come Fly With Me. Any more a new movie costs about the same so even low on special features it is still a deal!!

Anyone who has ever seen "Little Britain" (in any of its various incarnations) know that its creators and principle performers Matt Lucas and David Walliams just might be certifiably insane. Of course, I mean that as the highest compliment possible! The pair have worked together in numerous British TV projects through the years, but will always be ingrained in my psyche for "Little Britain." They display a gift for creating wacky (and surprisingly identifiable characters) and then setting them loose on the world in a sketch comedy format. Let's be honest. "Come Fly With Me" doesn't break much new ground in relationship to their other comedy successes, but it does give them another venue for dressing up and acting a fool. The target this time is a fairly easy one. The scenario plays out like a reality TV show is shooting various personalities that work in and around a major airport. If you've ever seen the A&E hit show "Airline," this feels like a slightly more absurd version of that show.

Among the primary characters that recur within the six brief episodes, there is a good cross section of the airport scene. From apathetic baggage handlers, to rival ticket girls, to a married pilot team, to a self-serving guest relations specialist, to an ambitious flight attendant, to a couple of frequent passengers, to paparazzi--Lucas and Walliams perfect a variety of nutjobs and pander to every cliche and stereotype imaginable. Having worked in an airport environment for a number of years, I'd like to say that the satire is wildly exaggerated--but certain stereotypes exist for a reason! Not every character was as interesting as every other, but it's a matter of taste.

It is so unfortunate that this English show only ran 2 seasons. It is beyond funny! It is laugh out loud at unexpected times belly roll funny! If you like big gut laughs - you will love this! If you are one of those that has an issue with any humor about stereotypes, then this isn't for you. If you can sit back and just enjoy the amazing talent, script, and actor transformations and the numerous and abundant characters played by just 2 English actors. I highly, highly recommend. These guys are amazing! I watch this over and over and I never stop laughing. I know there are only 5 stars - but I give this 6.

I thought it was awesome that I was getting this show as a gift for someone special. I thought the price was semi fair for only 6 episodes if it was new. Well I have gotten much better quality items at the used stores compared to this! My case was deeply cut on the back of the case through the entire plastic case so it was also cut way down through the plastic cover and paper. So this whole entire case has a big thick gash that will only grown bigger throughout the case because when you close and shut the case the crack will grow deeper and bigger. I was very upset even more because this was a surprise gift so it just looked cheap and used. If I tape it up it will collect hair/fall off a lot and have to be replaced all the time because it's all over the case and through the part you close and beyond. Not to mention look bad! They need to up their quality and not be careless because there was more then one in stock so I could have gotten a better one! This dvd was in this condition from the seller because it got shipped in an envelope to me and there was no rips or cuts at all throughout the whole envelope and where the case was destroyed. It literally was cut/sliced down deep with a knife. I hope his dvd is okay when he finally wants to watch it and at least works well. I wish I would have spent a little extra to get this from another seller b/c I wanted better quality for my money and gift!!!
