If you don't mind a bunch of queens who think they are all that and more because Logo has branded them "A-list" then this show is a great guilty pleasure. A-List New York was a guilty pleasure for me but Dallas adds to the mix a gay conservative republican who is also deeply religious and that caused me to have to turn it off for a break at one point because it was so opposite of my views. But then once I cooled down I went back and low and behold the cat fights and pot stirring drama finally started and that to me is the only reason to watch reality fare like A-List Dallas.

It certainly isn't the group in NYC. I hope I can like it as much. There will never be another Ryan. Phillip might be, kind of, a cross between Ryan and TJ. Of course, obviously, James is the Austin, and Levi is the Reichen, but not hot. And I see Chase as being the 'Derek'.

I'll just have to wait and see. I know it's just been only one episode. I just wish there was more of a difference in ages. I felt like Mike was an anchor. And I liked that Reichen was a bit older, too. And somewhat masculine. I think Taylor might just be the Nyasha of the bunch...thinking that the party shouldn't start before he arrives.

Anyway, I'll give it a chance. I just miss Ryan, and Derek, though. And,of course...TJ, too.

I'm sorry but I like this show. It's brainless, trashy and just plain horrid. But then I like Dynasty and Dallas so this is really up my alley. The characters are shallow and one dimensional which just shows even us gays can be just as pathetic as the straights. And the Texan accents mixed with a member of the gay Hitler youth (yeah we're looking at you Tyler) just makes it an entertaining train wreak. And the reality is we ALL know these people no matter where you live. With television viewing like this how can anyone think America is on the decline?!?!?

These men are really spoiled. But it is fun watching them being silly, and trite, but still making up as friends in the end.
