I am a little disappointed because the Pilot episode is not included on this set. The Pilot originally aired as an hour long episode with the second episode "Last Baby Proofing Standing". On the DVD it lists the episode as Pilot/ Last Baby Proofing Standing, but only the latter episode is there. I think maybe the manufacturer didn't realize that they were two separate episodes, but it would be nice to have the actual first episode as that episode sets up Mike's job at Outdoors Man as well as Kyle and Kristen dating.

EDIT: I received my corrected DVD. The episode is still listed as Pilot/ Last Baby Proofing Standing but both are there now in their original hour format. Thanks Amazon for correcting this.

Tim Allen is hilarious as always, and the conservative bent of the show is refreshing in a world awash with socialistic dogma.

Last Man Standing is one if the funniest shows on tv. Tim Allen is at his best. Good humor. Crude or discusting humor are absent from this show. I hope this show stays on Tv for many seasons.

This show raised my respect for Tim Allen as a comedian and actor. I love the conservative slant on the show and the anti-Democrat ribbing that happens. I dont know his political bent in real life but if he's anything like Mike Baxter I'd love to go fishing with him!

The pilot episode of Last Man Standing feels like Tim Allen bringing back his role from Home Improvement, except now he has three daughters instead of three sons.

Allen plays a father of 3 and a man's man. Allen's character works for an outdoor company, traveling to exotic sites to prepare the company's catalog. When the company shifts to a modern, blog-based approach and cancels the catalog, Allen gets shifted to filming web episodes to advertise the company's products. In those videos, Allen rants about metrosexual men who would rather go tanning than hunting, and he quickly draws a large following.

Allen's three daughters range from a Kardashian-in-training to a tomboy soccer player. Much of the pilot episode focuses on Allen's attempts to connect with each, as they struggle with children and boyfriends he doesn't understand.

For those that enjoyed Home Improvement and Tim "The Toolman" Taylor, you'll love seeing Tim Allen bring that same personality back to life. The show isn't always politically correct, but it will keep you laughing.

It takes smart writers to be funny without being dirty. Mission accomplished! I highly recommend it. I wish I could buy the DVDs.

I've seen Tim Allen on stand-up, movies and TV series, always fun for the whole family to watch. Whish they made more TV series like his.
He appears to be having fun while acting in movies or TV series. Both my husband and I are fans of his shows, and enjoy the belly laughs.
This one is even better than Home Improvements (which we love).
