DVD Review: Synapse version. Yes this movie was shot in full screen so don't get all whinny about the ratio aspect because it has ALWAYS been 1:33. The picture quality is a little poor but it's watchable enough and the audio and subtitles are good. Also, you'll get an interview with the director. Yay.

Movie Review: A lot of people hated this movie and I don't give a **** what they think. It is by no means a masterpiece but I actually liked the movie. The atmosphere and cinematography has a dark 80's b-movie post-apocalyptic look, the action sort of oscillates between really good to slow and s****y, the special effects are "special", the story is dumb and so forth but overall I was satisfied with the film.

In Conclusion: 4 stars for the DVD and 3 1/2 stars for Living Dead In Tokyo Bay.

A poorly animated meteor, one that Bruce Willis couldn't stop, lands in Tokyo Bay. A fog isolates Tokyo and creates a chemical which turns people into zombies. Battle Girl is part of the secret military and must combat the zombies, people hunters, and her own military in order To save herself and the refugees.

It seems the military is creating a "cosmo-amphetamine mutant army." There is a long speech given at the end by the Colonel which begs the question, "What's wrong with Japan?"

Nice leather outfit, but this cult zombie film was barely watchable as the director had no idea where to go with it.

Was required to see this film for a university course on Japanese Zombies in Film and Literature.
Unfortunately, this was all in Japanese, without English dubbing. If once I figured out what was happening, it was hard to stay and watch.

The star of the movie is also a female wrestler, for a Japanese version of WWE or WWF. Over the top movements that are not even remotely convincing.

Unless you like cheesy B movies, or horror flicks in general, this movie is not one that is worth seeing even once.

Interesting idea but the dialog is in Japanese and I don't speak Japanese, the rental was a waste of money and time.
I suggest Amazon verify what language a film is recorded in before they offer it.
Pass on this one unless you grew up in Japan.
