The Biggest Loser 13 Seasons 2012

Season 13
2.9 out of 5 stars (14) IMDb 5.5/10

"The Biggest Loser" returns with a bang for season 13 when the contestants arrive at the ranch and get one of the biggest surprises ever in the series' history. They arrive in teams of two, eager to change their lives together, but they're shocked to discover that they will not only be split up -- they will also be competing against the person they came with. They'll be pushed out of their comfort zones in a way they have never been before -- and one team won't even make it on to the ranch -- as the season of "No Excuses" begins.

I've watched every season of The Biggest Loser and will continue to do so as long as it is on TV. This show inspires me to try to get healthier, and it is great motivation to tune in while doing a cardio workout. That said, this season was not inspiring compared to others. Most seasons, I've not only watched while they aired on TV, but have also bought on Amazon to keep so that I can use them for my workouts. This is the one season that I won't buy. It seems the producers forgot the purpose of the show and why fans watch it (to inspire and motivate), and turned this season into a drama-filled reality show about people being terrible to each other instead of supporting each other. If you are looking to buy a season of The Biggest Loser, buy #7 or #14. The season after this one was one of the best, wonderful contestants and even made an effort to help children. Seems like the producers got the message. The only good thing about this season is that it upset fans so much and did such damage to the popularity of the BL franchise, that the show had to bring Jillian back in order to appease fans that were threatening to never watch again. Anything that brings Jillian back has some redeeming quality.

In all fairness, because of the bad reviews I only watched episodes 1, 11, 14, 15, and 18.
I thought all of the episodes that I watched were excellent. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the finale.
It was so rushed, that poor Allison was always out of breath! Everyone weighed in all at once, and there was a lot missing, like reviews of everyone's journeys which I always enjoy.
As far as Conda goes, she admits that she had a difficult personality, and truly seemed to change on the inside, as well as the outside.
I will probably go back and watch the rest of the episodes eventually.

I love to watch BL while I work out. Season 13 is without Jillian and the testosterone is rampant. So thankful she is back for the next season but love Bob and Dolvett too. She just rounds things out a bit!

I have been watching this show for most of the seasons and I have to say that it makes me cry every time. I've never been the type to watch reality shows, but this one is totally worth it. Its so impressive and touching to see the life-changing work the contestants and trainers do every show.

This was an awful season. Conda was a witch I kept waiting for a house to fall on her. The contestants pouted like small children, they signed contracts so there shouldn't have been a whole lot of surprises. For a season of no excuses, it was an awful motivator.

Love the show but this season was full of hateful people. Conda and her brother and that bird faced girl where unwatchable. What a shame to an otherwise great show. The WH and Michele Obama were great though. Bob should be mad that his greatest local, the WH, was tainted by the rest of the season and I feel bad for all the other contestants that were shadowed by a handful of jerks.
More Olivias', Hannas', Adas', and Terras'. Less gossipy little girls and her trolls.

First, The Biggest Loser is an amazing, amazing program. I learn a lot about how to lose weight, how to gain more focus, and how to deal with the inevitable challenges of change.

That said, THIS SEASON (only) has got to be theeee worst of all The Biggest Loser programs. Ironically, one should still watch it. It shows you what NOT to do to be successful, and what not to do when trying to be supportive of others in your same boat.

Conda (I called her something else) and her ignorant pals (including her loser of a brother) were in my opinion the rudest, most hateful, and conniving bunch. These characters really ruined my enjoyment of the program. Conda who cried about distraction couldn't care less about being the biggest distraction of all. I dislike her appearance on this show so much. I wish she were never chosen and I hope that The Biggest Loser never chooses such an unsupportive individual ever again.

I was also disappointed in Doulvet. He seemed one-sided. Very unappealing. But, Bob the Heartthrob saved the day. I love him and will keep watching because he's on the show. Lose Bob, and this show would tank.
