This show is a delight to watch with my wife and our seven and eight-and-a-half-year-old children. The animation is excellent and the setting is present day. Bugs Bunny lives in a neighborhood near to the houses of Yosemite Sam and Granny, Tweety and Sylvester. Bugs, Daffy and Porky are all friends, with jobless and classless Daffy living with Bugs. Frankly, while all the characters are excellent and sound much like they did in the original cartoons, Daffy is who makes the show. In the "Peel of Fortune" episode (one of the funniest, IMHO), for example, Daffy and Bugs are at the mall and Daffy is wearing big, baggy jeans with a belt, which prompts Bugs to ask, "What are you wearing?" Daffy responds with, "My mall pants. It's a sign of respect." Bugs replies, "Shouldn't you wear a shirt?" Daffy fires back, "It's the mall, not church. Too much respect." In another episode, Daffy is learning about Foghorn Leghorn so that he can portray Foghorn in Foghorn's autobiographical movie. After Foghorn tells Daffy a few things, Daffy says, "Basically you say 'I say, I say, I say' a lot." The shows just plain funny and full of great humor. I would say that anyone from six or seven years of age onward would understand and enjoy this show. Can't wait for season 2.

Also features a host of familiar Looney Tunes characters such as Elmer Fudd, the Witch, the Monster, and Speedy Gonzalez (hope I spelled that right). Seriously, one of the funniest cartoons out there right now.

This underrated cartoon series mixes slap stick comedy found in nearly all Looney Tunes cartoons and mixes it with popular sitcom tropes. See Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck as unlikely roommates in suburbia. See Speedy Gonzales as a restaurateur. Yosemite Sam is that one neighbor we all dread. Porky Pig is an accountant. Foghorn Leghorn is an eccentric business magnate on the level of Howard Hughes.
Your favorite characters retain all their personality traits. They date, some work, all bring the laughs.
This series also includes all new Merry Melodies as well as new CGI Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner shorts.
My entire family loves this new series.

Usually when someone tries to revive an old standard they try so hard to make it modern and hip that it destroys the product. Not the case here. This reboot is every bit as funny as the original with a few changes to keep things new and fresh. The voices are well done and the comedy is rich. Kids will love it, but I think parents will be just as happy as they remember the Looney Tunes from their childhood.

My 10-year-old had an unexpected stay in the hospital earlier this year (he's fine now!) and we ended up watching a lot of TV. In doing so we discovered the Looney Tunes Show, a modern update of the old cartoons. The writing on this show is terrific, and the voice talent is amazing -- it includes, among others, Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen of SNL fame, and John O'Hurley (the guy who played J. Peterman on Seinfeld). We're completely hooked, and I enjoy watching the show almost as much as my son does.

This show makes my mornings. It's clever and witty - an updated look at all the characters from our childhood. Aside from Daffy bring an evil, vapid narcissist (and the FUNNIEST character), it's perfectly fine for kids of all ages while also truly enjoyable for grown ups.

With Bugs the straight (and sane) man to Daffy, Porky the lovable and bumbling good pal, Yosemite Sam the redneck neighbor, and several other classic characters plus new ones, the personalities alone are worth the episode. Speedy Gonzales? He lives in his mouse hole at Bug's and runs a pizza shop. Taz is the dog. And how does Bugs get his money to fund his lifestyle and the freeloader Daffy? Why, he invented the carrot peeler of course.

I highly recommend this show. I'm saddened that they cancelled it for "Wabbit" since 10 min into that show I was severely disappointed and turned it off. But this show - I've watched over and over :).

(Sitting in front of a chess board)
Daffy: hmmm. Hmmm. Hmmmmmmm. Do you have any fours?
Bugs: Daffy, we're playing chess.
Daffy: right! Right! Huh! I know! Colonel Mustard in the pantry with the revolver!
Bugs: do you even know how to play chess?
Daffy: (taken aback) Of COURSE I do!.........huh! GIN!

My kids and I love this show! It is hilarious. I think it stays true to the original characters, just expands them and modernizes them. My favorite episode is French Fries. When Daffy tries to say thank you and mispronounces it (due to never using the phrase before) it cracked me up. I love the running gags as well: Daffy's float/car, his mispronunciations, Off Duty Cop. The whole show just makes me ridiculously happy.
