Again, this is a wonderful view into a Christian home with excellent values. They genuinely love one another, respect one another, and are kind to one another. How rare to see this and with such a large family! There are lessons here to be learned. Many with one or two or three children cannot handle life, divorce, complicate their lives more, etc. Excellent viewing and I highly recommend.

With all the filth on television today it's truly encouraging to watch a show that lifts your spirits, encourages your family, and offers wonderful role models for your children. We have been so excited for this show to air.

How sweet and refreshing to see unselfish parents who truly love their children and are willing to invest their time and energy into raising them well. Watching them is a breath of fresh air compared to the junk that is usually shown on tv.

What a precious family. They are so refreshing to watch in a society that no longer adheres to the principles that once made this country great.

So interesting to compare the Bates family to the Duggars. First, ALL the Bates children are encouraged to go to college - girls included! I so appreciate their encouraging education for their children, unlike the Duggars. I also appreciate the naturalness of Kelly Bates. I always feel with Michelle Duggar that she is WORKING very hard to be sweet. I never completely trust what she is feeling. With Kelly, what you see is what you get and I like that sincerity.
