Good and fast!

This soap was very helpful when having to clean all the breast pump accessories and bottles. You just fill the sink with hot water and pump a few pumps into the water and let it sit for 5 mins. Then rinse the items and dry them. Boom you’re done. Probably could just use regular dish soap (and I do that now) but no complaints about this stuff!

How to wash bottles without scrubbing and leave no residue

I see a lot of people complaining bottles have residues and require scrubbing. I thought the same way at first but I figured out a trick:
1.Squirt Medela soap once into a bottle and fill with few ounces of warm water. (I fill about little less than half)
2. Put a lid/nipple on it and shake vigorously for good 5-10 seconds.
3. Transfer the concentrated soapy water to next bottle and throw the previous one into sink. Repeat for all bottles.
4. Once you are done shaking all bottles, combine with rest of pump parts and everything, and squirt more soap to match the soaking ratio, fill with warm water and soak for five minutes, then rinse.
I had a great result with this trick.
I subtract one star since it runs out quick. For me, Medela soap lasts about a month. I'm not sure it's fair to subtract one star. It is a great soap compared to regular dish soap or dishwasher soap. I am going to try the other soap- Dapple, and see how it compares.
* Update *
Comparision with Dapple- I just started using Dapple, the foaming version. Dapple did not remove residues as well as medela did. I used the same shaking technique as described above. Dapple works better than regular soap but less effective than medela.

I'm an elementary music teacher. I bought this for when I returned to work. I don't have a lot of time for pumping. I don't have any hot water or even an easily accessible sink. I bought this because it says quick clean. Then I read the instructions and found out you're supposed to soak the parts in hot water after scrubbing them in this soap. If I had time for that, I can just use dish soap. I thought this was going to be a spray/squirt & rinse kind of thing. I was wrong.

Mixed review here. Here's the real deal:
1) You don't use this like regular soap. 3 pumps into a gallon of water, and you have to let the parts soak for 5 minutes. mmm not a process I want for me. It means I have to have a bin that holds a gallon on hand (if you want, use a small storage / shoe bin, it holds a gallon) which I'll have to maintain and use countertop real estate. And I have to wait 5 min? I'm clearly onto something else by then, or i'll forget.

2) 25 washes. wait what? Remember your newborn feeds about every 2 hrs. that's 8-12 times / day. So either I have lots of nipples, bottles, caps etc to do a wash / day (provided you can get all the stuff submerged in a gallon of water, OR i'm using this for 2 days.. mmm yeah

I suppose every milk is different, so do what works for you and your process. We've found that Baby Organics or Dapple works perfectly (though we clean right away, it'll even clean over night milk), and one of the soft baby brushes works brilliantly. Besides, after a quick wash, we're sanitizing in the microwavable bag anyways - steam blast that stuff.

Before I decided to throw a few milk pump bottles out I searched for something to remove the residue. I read the reviews and although there were many positive and many not so positive, ultimately I decided to try it for myself. I'm really glad I did. As you can see in my before and after pictures, it really works.

To get clean, I used about 4 pumps of soap into a dishpan of hot water and let soak about 15 minutes before using the sponge and rinsing. Will certainly buy again.

I originally bought this soap because no matter how much I rinsed them, my regular dish soap (Dawn) left a bad 'soapy smell' on my baby bottles and pump accessories. This product did a great job of eliminating the smell, however, soon after I found Seventh Generation Dish Liquid (Free & Clear), and I think it does a better job of getting them clean. It is also half the price and you get more than twice as much.

I absolutely love this product! I just went back to work so pumping has become much more frequent and I hate standing at the sink scrubbing pump parts. I use the Quick Clean Wipes when I'm out on the road during the day (my car is my office). When I get home, I put all the parts in a basin, fill it with water and the correct number of pumps of the soap, let it sit for 5 minutes while I relax or take care of my little one, come back, and rinse everything off. Super quick and easy. At the end of the week, I do scrub the pump parts because it feels a little weird at times to not be scrubbing the items clean or put them in the dishwasher. Everything looks clean when it comes out and dries. I am VERY happy with this product. It is well worth the money because of how much time I am not standing at the sink so I can be with my little one or taking a few minutes to relax.
