This is the video you wish all those YouTube videos were. These guys make their way to Seattle and share the trials and tribulations, albeit superficially, of making a kayak journey of this magnitude. The cinematography is beautiful, and the entire thing feels highly realistic. This was a great adventure and the film manages to convey that while not feeling like some kind of travel brochure.

It's not about the nuts and bolts trivia of expeditions, though you do get some unexpected treats in that regard. It's just a fun record of a fine adventure.

One unexpected and very cool shot was when a humpback whale unexpectedly breached not 20 meters away, startling everyone. The sudden sound and reaction from the guys was priceless.

I am in the throes of planning for a kayak circumnavigation of Vancouver Island. This video gave me a good sense of what it might feel like to make an extended voyage by kayak along the BC coast. I am glad I rented it.

This was a great documentary - I totally did not expect the humor. These are 2 guys who are fun to hang out with. It doesn't have all the gritty details and multiple maps, etc., of many documentaries, but it has a little more life to fun to it than the usual. I would watch it again.

Awesome paddling/adventure documentary. Plenty of belly laughs are provided by josh and j.j two down to earth very likable characters. Will be thoroughly enjoyed by both paddlers and non paddlers alike.
