Plot: Girl murdered but saved by werewolf, who's her mystical "other half". But she's toyed with by a vampire, so she's a hybrid wolf-vamp, all the while displaying another supernatural talent. She's like "Super Hybrid Girl". Naturally she's challenged by the pack female leader and wins, but the witches and others give her a hard time. Has this been a long spoiler? No, it all takes place in a few chapters, and the characters have the depth of a linguini noodle. Not much thought required on the writing, and less to read it..

The beginning of the tale drags on while the author hopes the reader might buy into the premise. The ending pages arrive before you develop any alliegence to the characters, let alone have any reason to read more. This first chapter 'book' is an ineffectual cliffhanger that begs the question -- why did I every waste my time after the first chapter. Just say NO!

I'm so disappointed! The description for this book had me expecting so much. Was super excited by the plot of the book, only to start reading it and find that the author must have been in a tearing hurry when writing it. It just felt so.....rushed. The story lacked feel, vague descriptions, easy life altering acceptances, old story plots mashed into quick chapters. I barely got through half the book and just couldn't continue. The author has great imagination but needs to work on world and character building.

I actually liked this book a lot. I expected it to be predictable but it wasn't.
Ava, a nineteen year old with a rough past, is bitten by a vampire and turned into a werewolf on the same night. She is found by Jack, the alpha male of her future pack, who turns out to be her other "half" . Her presence in the pack attracts a group of evil werewolves who wish for her to create more hybrids like her.
I found that sometimes the descriptions were a little pointless and there was the occasional grammar/ spelling error. But overall a great book, worth my money! Appropriate for early teens to young adults.

Honestly, when I started reading this, I wasn't quite sure id like it, but kept reading. It turned out, this book was pretty dang good. It kept me involved until the end, tho there were a couple of places throughout that needed a little better editing. Overall, though, I enjoyed the book; the story line was well thought out, and the characters were well developed and interesting. I'll be reading the second in series, for sure.

Girl goes out to have a few drinks and winds up getting bit by a vampire, gets stabbed and robbed and on top of that, a werewolf who is her other half saves her. Lol. Now she's a hybrid. Half wolf, half vampire. Talk about a spilt personality. Great writing and the author does a great job of making the story believable. Had a wonderful time reading it.

Some of the book was a bit hokey and vague, but overall a good read. The thinking behind how Ava is turned into a hybrid is a theory I’ve never heard before. Cool points for originality there. I also liked all of the layers that were revealed towards the end of the book and I am definitely looking forward to finding out what happens in book 2.

Eva is turned into a hybrid vampire/werewolf after alpha wolf, Jack, saves her life one night after she's been knifed by a thief &, Luke, her vampire sire had just infected her - what a night out! Book goes on to reveal Eva's struggle learning to live with this fact after joining a wolf pack; finding out the reason why she's so drawn to Jack & realising she's in danger from werewolves/vampires/witches, who are either trying to kill her or get her to make more hybrids! Look forward to more about Eva, Jack, Luke, Marisol & Xander in book 2. Thoroughly recommend you buy this book.
