Good Start to Hailey and Wyatt’s Story

**********Contains Spoilers********** Man I really enjoyed this book. I loved the connection between Hailey and Wyatt, their chemistry is off the charts, they’re mates but Hailey has banned any talk of mates but is happy to take their relationship public. I loved their friendly arguing it made me smile. During this book Hailey goes to a Summit to deliver a speech in Allie’s place as not only a representative for the Queen but the Society as well. She even warned Hailey that she has to read the speech that she’s been given when she’s speaking in Allie’s place but is happy for her to go off script later once she’s talking as herself but about halfway through the speech she doesn’t agree with some of the points so she really impassioned and completely off script by saying what she believes is right. Everyone at the Summit loved her speech but she knows that she’s going to be fired not because Allie wants too but has too as it’ll undermined her authority as Queen. When she arrives in San Francisco for the Summit she gets to the mansion that she’s meant to be staying at and Wyatt opens the door, he’s the last person she’s expecting nor wants to see after she’s been avoiding the Dragos Realm therefore not visiting Owen and Daisy due to seeing him because she’s scared of what he makes her feel even though she’d never admit it. Owen was meant to be the Dragos Representative but he can’t leave the Dragos Realm as Daisy is pregnant for the first born Dragos in years and Dragos mates pregnancies are pretty dangerous if precautions aren’t taken but really Wyatt is at the Summit for Hailey since they’re mates. I loved how much Wyatt respects Hailey’s strengths and doesn’t automatically feel the need to protect her. After the predicament that Hailey, Cade and their team made up of other descendants from the secret society of the Emerald Flame that Verona was trying to recruit them into or at least pretending to as the Emerald Flame is trying to take the Society out of power which isn’t good as the Society serves its’ purpose well so I’m really looking forward to reading what happens next. All I can say is that I think Troy will be punched before long as he’s starting to annoy Hailey and Cade. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.

I loved reading Hailey and Wyatt's story! Even though they are not meant to be according to the Pteron society, they are so drawn to one another! Their love hate relationship along with all the bickering made for an interesting book and of course left me wanting more!

Hailey... She is best friends with the Pteron's princess and is sent on a job to give a speech in her place. While doing so, she goes way off from the speech only to have more trouble coming in the future. This trouble starts with her best friend possibly being mad and firing her, but ends even worse than she could have imagined.

Wyatt... He has been in love with Hailey since the first time he laid his eyes on her. He knows they are meant to be, but Hailey always pushes him away since she believes Pterons are only supposed to mate with humans. His mission is to prove to her how right they are. In doing so, he fears Hailey may be in danger and only wants to keep her safe. The last thing he could take would be loosing his mate.

This was such a great book! You do not have to read the other Pteron Chronicles to know what is going on. Alyssa Rose Ivy does a great job at explaining details that might have been missed if you didn't read the other series. I cannot wait to read book 2 in the series!

I love Hailey and was so glad to get to read more about her! In Torn she was given a job by her best friend and the Queen of the Society to go to a conference in her place. Allie asked Hailey to deliver a speech that had been prepared for her and was told not to deviate from what was written. Hailey is a strong willed independent female and because she felt so strongly about the subject she could not follow Allie's speech even though she was there for her and not for herself. She knew there would be consequences but went with her gut anyway.

While away at the convention Hailey has run into the one man who makes her heart crazy and the one she has been trying to avoid, Wyatt. She was unaware at the time but she would really need Wyatt on her side this time. After her heartfelt speech she was approached by an unknown woman and asked to join a secret team. Even though she was on Allie and Levi's bad side she decided to take the job to try and keep the society safe.

But all is not as it seems. Someone, or something, is off. Hailey takes you on a journey into the paranormal world as she fights to stay alive and maybe finds her true love.

I can't wait for more I know you will feel the same after you read Torn!

Hailey is the Queen's top consultant. She is asked to go to a Women's conference and deliver a speech directly as it was written. She was not to deviate at all. Sallie is the queen of the Society, but had another obligation. So, Hailey went and ran into Wyatt, the person she has been avoiding.

The speech was going well, but halfway in, Hailey realised that this was not something she believed in. So...She concluded with her own thought, her own expectations, which were far from what the Society would accept.

And someone wants her to join some secret organization that will take down the Society. When she returns to New Orleans, she already knows what Allie has to do. She broke protocol. But that's okay. She's reconnected with Wyatt and they have something going on. On top of that, as a Greco, Wyatt has also been asked to join this little group.

But all is not as it seems. Someone, or something, is demonic. Follow Hailey as she fights to stay alive. And Wyatt is searching for her. Darn. This is good.
