I received my OnePlus 7 Pro from this seller within days of ordering. The phone arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. Transferring my data from my old Samsung S8 was surprisingly easy using OnePlus Switch and took less than 15 minutes. I was surprised that not only were my data and applications transferred, my wallpaper and home screen layouts were also preserved perfectly making the move to the new handset a snap.

The performance of this phone is simply phenomenal. I opted for the 256 GB + 8 GB RAM option. With an uncommon screen refresh rate of 90 Hz vs the typical 65 Hz, scrolling through applications and switching between them is fast and buttery smooth. The in-screen fingerprint scanner is very fast and rarely misses on the first try. The edge to edge screen is huge and very emersive; being a class leading Samsung AMOLED screen colors are rich and vibrant. Using the pop-up selfie camera is both clever and fast. The camera quickly emerges from it's cubby hole and quickly returns. The phone can instantly detect when it's in free fall and will quickly and automatically retract the camera to avoid damage. A lot of reviewers lamented this phone's lack of official water resistance rating. The phone is definitely water proof. I have had it exposed to pouring rain and placed it on wet surfaces without any issues.

Bottom line is this. If you want a truly innovative, fast, large, all screen phone with no notch or camera cutouts at significantly less cost than the leading Samsung S10 or S10 Note then the OnePlus 7 Pro is the phone for you!

Get your prices competitive in this if you want to have a chance Amazon. I got my phone for $750, $0 tax from oneplus.com. OnePlus 7 Pro 12 GB RAM / 256 GB storage. The phone is awesome for real. I have to give OnePlus a 4.6/5 here, immaculate speed, the accuracy of your screen touches is flawless. Battery life of screen usage usually gets me to about 7.5-8 hours and charging is super fast. The screen is big and crystal clear. It's all around the best phone I've ever seen. The only negatives I have are, I would have preferred it in in black, but had to get Nebula for the 12GB/256GB and the 48 mp camera doesn't seem much better than my previous 12 mp Samsung phone.

When I first got my phone and was setting it up, i was skipping the software update. Later I was founding the screen to sensitive at the bottom when typing. Later I checked the updates and there was an update for both the Camera and screen sensitivity. The update made a world of difference. I have been using my One Plus 7 going on 5 days now. Love it. The built in speaker is actually pretty good for sharing with a friend watching youtube videos and such. Highly impressed with this one at the moment. The battery life is so good. So far, i have been charging it for about 15 minutes daily before work and I have yet to drop under 70 percent. everyone's use will very.. at work I use it just as a personal phone and some internet use, at home I use it casting video to my ChromeCast devices. I have used the cameras but not allot. Still digging into all the things this one can do. No Bloatware, big plus for me.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. Verizon united states: full cell signal, full wifi signal, no internet access. Reboot to regain, but lose internet within another 5 minutes. Cannot receive text messages. GPS doesn't work. Can't activate app accounts because of texting. Oneplus customer service says I'm outside the 15 day replacement window... So NO SUPPORT for a device I bought less than 3 weeks ago without spending more money. This phone is ridiculously expensive and the hardware is fantastic, but software is not service ready and company doesn't care. I'm returning this because it does not work as a basic cell phone. Edit: I kept it. The connectivity seems to have ironed itself out.. Somehow. But I still can't text and oneplus doesn't have an answer as to when I can expect an update.

Incredit Phone for the price. This is my first OnePlus phone and I will continue to buy their products. I opted for the 12GB/256 version and this is by far the best and fastest phone I have ever had. Functionality is smooth and fluid. The Oxygen OS is awesome! So many cool little customizable features that I kept finding. Battery life is perfect, I get about 30-36 hours before I need to charge I use it casually, web searching, social media, music, photos, occasional gaming, etc.

The only issue I had has nothing to do with the phone itself, but with Verizon and there lack of experienced tech support. Make sure when you switch the SIM card from your old phone to this phone that you write down the SIM card number that is on the SIM card itself because Verizon will need to know this in order to properly enter the phone and activate it in their system. It will still work otherwise except you may experience issues with service like I did. I could make and recei calls, I could send text but xout not receive text. I was on the phone for hours with Verizon and they kept asking me to looking in the settings to get the SIM card number, but I could not find a place in the phone that tells me the SIM card number. I finally spoke to someone who told me that the SIM card number is on the SIM card itself, so I pulled the SIM out, wrote down the number, gave it to the Verizon tech support guy and BOOM phone started working flawlessly. If you buy this and expert service issues, don't be quick to blame the phone or OnePlus. Keep contacting your wireless provider. The phone is totally wireless ready and compatible with major carriers.

Update after almost 5 months: DO NOT UPGRADE TO ANDROID 10!!! It is buggy, keeps crashing apps esp banking apps. Huge battery drain! For some reason Google assistant keeps switching on no matter who is speaking if they happen to say a trigger word. I have even had it switch on on the way to the bathroom whilst locked. It was recording me telling my kid that I am heading to the loo etc. Talk about invasion of privacy and spying on us! Beyond that, what annoys me is that it does not stay on whilst you are chatting on the phone with the result that if you need to check your diary, you struggle to get the fingerprint to appear. Tap, shake... sometimes nothing responds. Only way then to wake it up is to press power button which sadly also terminates the call if you are not careful. I think the latest Android version is full of spyware. How do you explain otherwise that my phone knows exactly when I have gone to sleep and woken up? I mean, ok I put it down and watch some TV before bidding off. How does it know I slept 20 minutes later and not instantly? And how does it know I am truly awake when during the night I often tap the screen to see the time? What is different between those times and morning? Remember the phone is not being picked up or walked. I will tell you what they are doing. They are listening in, constantly. So they hear snoring = you are asleep. They hear conversation, they know you are wide awake. Did I ever ask the phone to monitor my sleep patterns? No! Ugh! So annoyed! Update after 2 weeks usage: Can't imagine life without this phone! I am now fully familiar with its functions and we get along well. The battery has stabilised and I get 25 to 30 hours easily with around 9 hours on screen. The phone lights up on its perimeter when in lock mode and you get a notification - different colours for different apps. I have given it full marks now as it has surpassed my expectations. This is a preliminary review after one day's usage and exploration. It will tell you how I feel about the phone and how I perceive it when comparing it with other phones I have owned. Please remember that every person is looking for different things in a mobile phone so your user experience will be different to mine.

My wish list included honest photography and videography with clear yet deep sound, long battery life and a front fingerprint reader. I take lots of pictures and hate the overexposed, oversaturated and beautified images that have taken over the market, hence the need for honesty. I had a few phones in mind and kept watching videos trying to figure out which one would suit me best before ordering the One+ 7 Pro. The reason? The photo tests came really close to those of Google Pixel 3 and sometimes surpassed them!

So here are some observations I noted down as I got to grips with my new phone:

Comes with silicone case but no earphones or adaptor. Guess they expect us to have leftover earphones and adaptors from previous phones?

It's large and heavy! Consequently, it gets cumbersome and causes muscle fatigue after a while (had similar problem with Sony XZ3). I preferred the feel of the Mate 20 Pro as it was slightly slimmer and fitted better and also it was beautifully balanced so you did not need to exert yourself to hold it. [My hand has gotten used to its weight but I still feel a bit intimidated by its size and wonder whether we do indeed need such big screens. However, watching Netflix in bed demonstrated the beauty of its large display and the clarity of its sound.]

Fingerprint reader works well and fast. Facial recognition is also speedy but as it requires the recessed camera to work, I am not too keen on using it.

Photographs were a bit noisy on portraits but looked artistic. The update fixed the noise issue BUT ruined the portrait mode that is now overexposed. Not sure why; still figuring it out. Need to test it further. The rear camera produced good photographs compared to the Mate 20 Pro which was a fail. The S7 has more depth of colour and a nice background separation which gives photos a 3D appearance, something the Mate lacked and the 7 Pro cannot quite achieve. (The S7 was a dynamite phone despite the skin smoothing.) [It was my stupidity. I thought like a Galaxy S7 user, that if I click on the face of the person, I'd get an AF lock, but this phone has no AF lock. What it does when you click on part of the screen is give you the option to adjust the exposure (light or dark) so I ended up with a washed out picture - my fault entirely! Also in portrait mode, it has a little oblong shape that says Depth Effect. This is what controls the bokkeh and you can't do much about it other than make sure it lights up green before snapping the shot. It will light up green only when the camera is at the correct distance from the person. I suppose this is one way of making sure the subject is in proper focus. Talking of the bokkeh effect it is very subtle unlike other phones. If you want stronger effects, photo manipulation programmes are your friend, but for me this is good enough.]

Videos on the One+ 7 Pro are beautifully stable when walking but if you turn fast, the image blurs momentarily before it recovers. [I enjoyed using slow motion but not sure if other phones can switch to slow motion during videoing or if the YouTuber vloggers actually splice videos up to add the slow motion part. My phone can take either or videos. The slow motion does not activate randomly as in the Samsung phones and I think that gives you more control but to be honest I am still a rookie in these things.]

Sound playback is excellent in music and films due to top and bottom speakers, but the microphone can hardly pick up someone talking 1.5 meters away from you in a quiet room when you are taking a video.

The display is not as great as any of the comparison phones. The icons (phone, texts, camera etc) are not as beautiful as the competition's. There is poor selection of wallpapers and none of themes. One thing I enjoyed about the Mate 20 Pro was its wide selection of wallpapers, some of which were animated. Felt so excited to hold a phone that had falling cherry blossoms. Luckily, the Play Store has a variety of free wallpapers and was able to find some that give me joy. [Once a great wallpaper was in situ, everything looked much better!]

The curved edge makes the letters from some apps seem to slide downhill, reminds me of Salvador Dali's famous melting paintings. Not a deal breaker but distracting. App developers and One+ should take that into consideration and condense their displays to leave a black gap on the edges when text is involved. [My brain learned to ignore it.]

The bottom navigation bar lies behind ads in games like Solitaire - takes some skill to NOT click on the ad trying to get to the home screen and I am proud that I have mastered it. [Should not be a problem if you are not using the silicon case. If you do have the case on as I do, learn to start the scrolling action from the silicon itself and you won't miss.]

Angry Birds Friends is not loading and constantly crashing. [Uninstalled the app as per Rovio's instructions and re-installed it. It worked until I exited. Then I was again unable to load it. This morning, it works again. Mystery!]

Bejewelled Blitz was jumpy despite the 90 Hz refresh rate and it feels laggy. Taking off the Fnatic mode seemed to improve things a bit (though Fnatic is meant to be ideal for gaming...) [Checked this morning, still laggy at 60 Hz even if all other games are closed. I can understand the screen being slow because of the screen protector causing more friction but why is the game slow to load results? Maybe my broadband is slow at times?]

Colours on apps seem ‘dirty’ instead of clear and vibrant as in comparison phones. Also blacks look greyed out. [I got used to the new look of colours and it does not bother me any more. I have even reduced the display settings to save battery as that is more important to me at the moment.]

Google Calendar is more laborious to work with than the Samsung calendar as it requires to select what kind of entry you are entering - ugh! (Ease off, Google. Just let me enter it and trust me to know what my entry is for!!)

Step counter kept counting up despite me not taking a single step. It just felt the vibrations of me picking the phone up and thought this was walking. Hmm... to cheat or not to cheat? [I don't really fancy walking around with this big phone so I have left my old phone in the bathroom LOL]

I did not use the file transfer app they recommend as I had a bad experience with Huawei's own and said never again. Sadly restoring from Google backup, did not restore my text messages. The other phones did which is baffling. [Apparently Google security does not allow a full restore unless you verify it is you who logged in from a new device, so do that first and then try the restore.]

Keyboard is more accurate that the Samsung one, probably due to space but it makes it more tedious to type as you need to move your finger further. However, it has a great feature: a proper keypad that can be activated entering a series of numbers. On the minus side, the special characters are slightly harder to get to.

Final observation is that the battery seems to drain fast (very steep slope in diagram). Battery charges fully in 1 hour 20' and despite predictions that the phone would only last till 3 am, the phone survived the night on standby mode till 6 am. Although the screen was on for about 6 hours yesterday, I didn't do much other than set it up, take a few pics and a couple of short videos and try out my game apps. The Mate 20 Pro had an amazing battery life. [The battery continues to worry me. If I need to be charging it more than once a day, then I have gained nothing over my old phone. I have now put the phone on dark theme, reduced the Hz from 90 to 60 and lowered the resolution. I also make a point to close every app when I am not using it. I am now confident enough to say that if there is a deal breaker for me it will be battery life, however, apart from the 6T, most phones have worse battery life. The Mate 20 has a great battery but the photography is ... ugh! I will try to let the battery drain and then charge it early morning and see how it fares. With light use, I would have expected the battery to last more than 23 hours :( Imagine if I start using it exclusively as I did with my S7!]

Conclusion: I am not 100% convinced this phone is for me though I can learn to live with it. I know from reviews that the One+ 6T has much better battery life and photography so maybe that would be an option...? [I am so tempted to order it and compare!!!]

I have just uploaded a screenshot of the battery information. It has improved. The phone goes into panic mode at 15% but if you ignore its message, it will see you through the night on standby and give you a couple of hours light use before it truly needs recharging.

I have been an iPhone user for 10 years. Loved them and swore I would never change. I need to upgrade my phone this year and to be quite frank, the iPhone is pricing itself out of the market (at least for me) with basic phones starting at £999. I started to look around for an alternative and I am so glad I did. I also have to admit that when I saw the specs of the Oneplus 7 Pro and then the price I was suspicious. How can something THAT GREAT be THAT PRICE? Right??? I followed up with a lot of research and every article I read repeatedly had the same excellent ratings and possible drawbacks. (Most noticeably the camera quality).
I have had the phone about a week and it out performs the iPhone in so many different levels. It is so worth the money (in fact don’t tell Oneplus in case they decide to up the price!) Fingerprint reader is lightning fast and the battery power is phenomenal - and it fully charges in 30 minutes. Using Oneplus Switch to transfer all the data from my iPhone was a complete dawdle and stress free! I have found no faults or problems with the phone so far and I have not once missed my iPhone. I am a Oneplus convert. If you decide to buy the Oneplus 7 Pro you won’t be disappointed.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is definetly worth it. If you compare it to other flagships such as the Galaxy S10, you're saving a decent amount of money. In addition to the great price, this fast is incredibly fast which pairs well with the stunning 90Hz QHD+ screen. Everything about the phone is awesome except from the camera. While it does have a 3x optical zoom and wide angle lens, the pictures don't come up as well as other smartphones. I hope OnePlus improves the camera in a future software update.

WOW, just WOW! I was losing patience with my Galaxy battery power dropping like a stone, despite the performance. This is my first OnePlus purchase and largely based on existing buyer reviews. I'm absolutely over the moon. It's a dream to use, with a more accurate keyboard, long lasting battery with the hugely fast charge and the screen is mind-blowing!! It's a terrific piece of kit and lightning fast too. In fact, stunningly quick! The swap process from the 'old' phone was easy, with most everything transferring without a hitch. The fingerprint recognition is incredible, as is the speed of the facial recognition - especially if you consider it is done via the pop-up camera, which is up and back down again in a flash. I read one review that said it struggled with the facial recognition in low light. There's a setting for that! Absolute top marks for those. In fact, top marks for almost everything. I had to learn a little on the settings to use on the camera, but once you master those, there's no room for complaint. To say I'm delighted and a convert (first time away from the common brand leaders) doesn't come close. It's worth the time just to explore all of the features and play with them until you find what works best for you. I would take a picture to post, but I'm using it right now!! 😁

After owning this for a couple of days I can say it's certainly the best phone i've used to date. Coming from a Huawei Mate 10 Pro (which had a fantastic camera) it's been a pleasure to upgrade to this flagship. Some notable features are the incredible 90Hz screen refresh rate, it's extremely noticeable coming from 60hz as the standard and makes it feel so much more pleasurable to use. It's also very very snappy and fast with clean animations. The inscreen fingerprint scanner is super quick for it being an inscreen type. The Warp charge is stupid fast and obviously the camera is incredible especially with the ultrawide feature. The screen quality is lovely and the USB C port is super tight and has a nice click when you plug in the charger which is a nice tid bit as some USB C phones have quite loose connections. The physical button for ringer type (silent, vibrate or sound-on) is a nice welcome too.

I do have some 'room for improvement' points, but these are subjective and can mostly be applied with software updates and it's still early days.
- It would be nice to see a few more features in the camera app, I loved the quick 'aperture-mode' on huawei cameras
- wider use of the ultrawide (recording, panorama)
- EQ settings for sound (though the sound is fantastic and has 3 Dolby Atmos profiles)
- Headphones not included, I know this is a luxury and generally isn't a big deal but as a first timer with one plus I wasnt expecting this, especially since its USB C and no jack, luckily I still have my huawei ones which are decent enough.
- fingerprint magnet warning, but this is expected with the high quality of the build, feels very premium and glossy but not too slippery like my old huawei was. Case included in the box is standard, phone also comes with a very subtle basic screen protector applied which is nice
