My girlfriend has Spotify and the ads were rather annoying. I particularly was amused by all the medication drug ones with the side effects. It will improve your life but could cause high blood pressure, stomach issues, burping up your spleen or possibly death.

I’d had it with those ads so I purchased the year ad free for my lady. It was NOT altruistic. But I feel better about myself anyway.

I bought this due to news about an upcoming price increase from $10.99 a month to $11.99 a month for a premium individual plan. At $99, this comes out to $8.25 a month. The code arrived in my email in less than 5 minutes.

When going to the Spotify redeem page, make sure you cancel your current premium subscription before entering the code, or else you'll get the "something went wrong" error.

I wish I'd known about this a few years ago - would've saved me a couple of dollars a year!

Spotify is the easiest, most convenient music streaming app I’ve used. I’ve tried Amazon music, Apple Music, Pandora, nothing is as good as Spotify! I’ve been using it every day for 3 years. The gift card saves you a little vs. paying for it monthly. The code was very easy to use. This would make a great gift too!
