How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Iran-Contra, one of the biggest national security scandals in our history, documented here in a virtual day by day account, provides the context of people, players and activities during this ugly period of politics during the Reagan administration. It made Watergate look like a sandbox encounter in nursery school. While there were worthy predecessors in US intelligence operations, this scandal was my introduction to geopolitical intrigue as it was happening. Listening to the hours of testimony on Capitol Hill at the time was fascinating and this book was the perfect complement. This book was released right in the middle of it, in vivid detail, with the 'star of David' missles given to Iran, the cake, the drug run and of course, Oliver North's drug runnng flights. Politicians and historians lionizing Reagan 30 years after this ugly period would be wise to read this book because he wasn't looking so presidential at the time.
