White is a cultural word. There is no race nor is there a country called white. The choice of the word in the title emphasizes the cultural aspect.

This is a great novelty or gag gift, not to be taken all too seriously in my opinion. The title alone is humorous, and this is the book featured on The Steve Harvey show in 2017, where Steve Harvey mocked Asian Men and became the well deserved target of critics proclaiming his prejudiced and racist humor at the expense of another minority. this book was at one time highly sought after for the curiosity surrounding the hype, even commanding higher price values in the secondary speculator, investor and collector market. Buy it because you want to be entertained, not because you are a white woman curious about Asian Men or an Asian Man looking for a White Woman.

What's so special about white female that Asian men have to read a book to date them?
Asians have the best education background, best income level. Asian community is great in many ways. Why do we have to read a book to date white?

Got this as a joke for Christmas for an Asian guy I was dating. I was a little nervous how it would go over, but he thought it was hilarious.

Personally, I am an Asian man. And by Asian, I mean Asian. When I got this book, I realized the error of my white-woman-hunting-ways. Now that I've seen the light, I can lure them in like moths to the fire. THANKS Adam Quan! My love life is more bubbly than a 100 degree pot in high altitude.

As an Asian man dating a white woman, I find this book to be inaccurate in many ways. But it was interesting to read and definitely a funny conversation starter to have on hand. I am now engaged to the same white woman so maybe I should write a book and charge thirty bucks for it.

If this is a joke, it is exceedingly offensive. If it is not a joke, it is still offensive. I think if this person is having trouble dating "white" women, perhaps it is not that the woman is "white" but that the suitor is just socially/culturally inept. That disability clearly shows simply by the fact that he would pen such a book (and I am being generous with that term.) I'd like to see the rest of his literary attempts, perhaps one on dating black women, tall women, short women, Christian, Jewish, blondes ... oh, how about ANY woman? No, as a woman, and a white one at that, to see this type of missive "published", if that is what this can be called, is just plain offensive. Shame on Amazon for promoting such a thing, and for this socially stunted person for penning such a blindly, bigoted piece of nonsense. Yes, bigoted is the word, and I would warn ANY man, Asian or otherwise, to be forewarned by the title alone, that there is nothing practical in the "Practical Guide" that will lend itself to a better understanding of any woman, given that the author is so insensitive as to presume such insight.
Why do "white" people use "black" as the symbol for such things? Because the black community has been the most vocal and successful in opening the eyes of the public to the injustices they've experienced. I could just have easily named a number of other such disparities, but on the whole, we all know that there are SOME things that are just not acceptable... and this is one of the most pronounced example. Even if I were black, what I said would still be true!
Shame on Amazon!! Joke or not, if this were for a "Black Woman", it would NEVER have surfaced at all!!
