This is an older book but I have been looking for it for a long time. Amazon didn't have it themselves but did offer it through another resource and the price was very reasonable. it is a great book. There are more modern types but, as with all modern medicine (?) books, some of them tend to get just a tad too "medicinal" and less SIMPLE - which, has been in my life, much more useful and helpful. One of the stories involves helping a person with chest congestion (etc) and I have always used it with my children and now with my grandchild. It is miraculous and so much LESS EXPENSIVE!! Thank you Amazon.com for providing me with this.

This is the book I'd want to have on a deserted island. Preppers should take note of this one. It's full of first aid using little or no other ingredients and the ingredients are usually very easy to find. My fave was the salt glow-getting rubbed down with salt. It really wakes up the circulation.
