I discovered this book at a health food store back in the 90's. At the time I was suffering from an inflamation of the colon. The doctors couldn't help me. I'm sure it's a rare occasion. David Webster takes the time to research all the history regarding this subject by studying the early pioneers of bacteria and it's relation to colon health and health in general. Louis Pasteur, Eli Metchnikoff, and James Empringham built upon upon each other in their research honing the science. Later David Webster finds others who discovered that whey which is a bi-product of cheese making process is the ideal food for re-establishing your native friendly bacteria. The procedure is to buy the whey in dried form, which is called Sweet Whey because the dehydrating of the liquid concentrates the product. Lactose is the only common sugar that reaches the colon in large amounts and is the primary carbohydrate required by acidolphilus bacteria. It gives new meaning to Little miss Muffet sat on a tuffet eating her curds and whey. At least to me it does. This is one of my most valuable books because it healed my
problem which no doctor could do.

After 13 years of pain, doctors, drugs, and two operations, I have cured my husband in one month by following this book. I picked up this book at the local health food market. Please note: I did NOT have to take the step of actually using the acidophilus implant. However, I did apply almost everything else David Webster writes about...juicing, whey, cutting back on red meat and alcohol, Kyo-Dophilus, Kyo-Greens, etc.
As a side note to all of this, the juicing every day had other dramatic results as well. My two older boys both suffered from acne. After ONE WEEK, their skin had cleared up. (recipe: 5 carrots, 2 celery, 1/2 apple, 1/4 of a beet, a little parsley. Organic vegetables only)
If David Webster is reading this, please contact me as I am in the media and I want to shout it from the rooftops that your book cured my husband.
