The music is top notch. This album helped start my obsession with the band and Dave. Not a single song on here to skip. My highlight is #41. Hands down best version from Dave and Tim. However, my review is on the vinyl. I ordered this originally from the fan store and had a record store day copy. The copies I received had audible rips in certain songs. Noticeably at the end of Crash and between #41 and Tripping. Had to return all as I am ocd with my vinyl. Grabbed two copies from Amazon in hopes of getting one good copy. One I received had the rip in crash I spoke of the other seems good after 1st listen. Took me a total of 5 copies to get one good one. If you don’t care about a couple of these rips then you should be ok, but if you are like me you may go through a few before getting a good one. I have 3 stars because of the quality issue in the vinyl. I want to stress the music deserves all 5.
After listening again my 4th record had the issue. I am now waiting on replacements from Amazon. This would make the 7th copy.

I never even considered that there would possibly even be a copy on vinyl. I never even looked, i just couldnt imagine it. When I found this listed here, I cant even begin to describe how excited i was and have been. I dont care if its 80 dollars, it is definitely a pricier album compared with many. BUT, it is FOUR vinyls of what is easily one of the most worth it values a person will ever find for this amount of this quality of music. It is simply one of the greatest acoustic albums or ANY album of ALL-TIME for that matter. And if you love acoustic music or just good music in general, if you collect and listen to great vinyls, if you like dave matthews at all (and even if you dont like him) this is different. I am just elated to have found this album on vinyl and i cant recommend this ENOUGH or even explain with an appropriate amount of zeal how great, how worth, and just how awesome this album is and how cool it is to have a copy on vinyl finally....

There is so much that a person can say about this album...words will never do complete justice to how great of a sonic gift this album was and is to the world. I only discovered this album in 2004, I was in the back seat of my friends jeep and i heard TYPICAL SITUATION play. I had been VERY familiar with the Dave Matthews Band, I had even seen them in concert in Tampa Bay. But when i heard that version of that song come out of that jeeps speaker system, I was just like, WHAT IS THIS?!?! My friend told me that it was called Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds: Live at Luther College and I bought the CD that night at the mall. At one point Acoustic Magazine had this album listed as their No. 1 Acoustic album of All-Time. I heartily agree. From the moment I bought it I couldnt stop listening to it, on repeat, skipping no songs, over and over and over again. After a week of that i fell in love with it so much I became afraid i would somehow damage a copy and lose it forever. So i bought 4 more copies of the CD. I Still have two sealed copies of the cd that ive had for just over 15 years now. But its just one of the greatest live shows or ANY performance or string of performances that has ever been put to tape or recorded. I would recommend this album to every human being alive.
