    The music for The Young Victoria is appropriately beautiful, grand with echoes of Handel and other royal musicians, but also romantic, with elements of nineteenth century opera and waltz music. Queen Victoria was a headstrong, passionate young woman who deeply loved her studious, dedicated husband Prince Albert. The movie does an excellent job portraying that, and the soundtrack could not have been better devised. I especially enjoyed the first track, which accompanies the opening scenes showing Victoria's coronation, and also the long dance music selection designed to accompany Victoria's appearance at Windsor Castle at the court of her uncle King William IV.

I had no idea, (This is from my preception) of what we were going to see, or what this movie was going to be about. I do have to say, that is a beautiful movie, one that should be watched in a theater. Now I am going to say what I was saying almost from the first scene-OMG!, the sound was and is incredible. For those who do not get to view this movie in a theater, buy the sound track. The music is stunning at certain points, but very solid the whole way through. The recording of the sound is great. G
