Tired of unplugging and replugging your modem or router every time the Internet disconnects?
ezOutlet2 monitors your Internet connection and automatically resets your modem or router when the connection drops.
Do you need to reset a device at a remote location or at a specific time of day?
ezOutlet2's cloud-based ezDevice app lets you turn a device on or off from anywhere. There's no messing around with port forwarding or domain names - no need for public or static IP addresses. Just connect ezOutlet2 to the Internet, install the app on your phone/tablet, sync and use.
ezOutlet2 lets you:
- Keep-alive a network device
- Automatically reset an Internet connection
- Remote power on-off-reboot a device on demand
- Schedule a power on-off-reset at multiple times of the day/week
Have a Pesky Router that Keeps Losing Connectivity?
ezOutlet2 can automatically cycle power to any device when Internet connectivity is lost.
Just connect the ezOutlet2 to the router with an Ethernet cable and plug the router’s power cable into the ezOutlet2.
ezOutlet2 automatically pings the Internet through the router to monitor the connection and prevent it from going dormant.
If the Internet disconnects, ezOutlet2 automatically power cycles the router, fixing the problem in less than a minute without any human intervention.
Freeze Up is the Most Common Network Issue
Routers, modems, switches, hubs, IP-cameras and other network devices are prone to freeze ups.
99% of the time, all that is needed to fix it is a simple reset via a power cycle … which ezOutlet2 does for you.
Stop freezing up your time & start automating now.
Control Remote Devices From Anywhere
ezOutlet2 is controlled by ezDevice, a very simple and user friendly app available on iOS and Android devices.

ETA several power outages later and it's worked like a charm. No manual resets (meaning unplugging the router) since setting this up! My neighbor is as relieved as I am, no more inconvenient trips to my house in bad weather just to reset the router.
I worked on this for another 5 hours. I love the challenge! Finally, it recognized its own serial number and pin code. Now that it works, so far it works flawless. I'm going to leave this one at 1 star for the aggravation...... The replacement is due today so I may have another challenge, we'll see. I will do another review on that one if Amazon allows it.....
The first one disconnected and now it doesn't recognize serial # or pin code again. Definitely a faulty unit!
This one found unit in app after 3 searches. It found serial # OK. The pin code was refused 27 times before it recognized it. Its up and running but uncertain for how long. I give this replacement unit 3 STARS and I feel that's generous...
I just received my 3rd one. Right out of the box it went into updating firmware mode. This tells me its New Old Stock. After the update, it took 47 times for the CloudUIS software to recognize its own serial number. Each time it says its not in my LAN, so I logged into my router and sure enough it was there, with an assigned IP address. At 48 times and 2 hours later, it finally recognized the serial number. Now comes adding the pin number, 23 times and it finally took. Total time spent getting it up and running was 4 hours.
I will take my 3 stars down to 1 star. Trying to add it to the network is very very frustrating! If you're short on patience, stay away from this thing!
