This battery far outperformed my expectations. I use it in my Blade MCX and it has worked wonders. The standard in the box battery that comes with the MCX is a 14C 120mah lipo. Considering this one is 25C 150mah I expected an increase in flight time of about 2 or so minutes. Nope. This battery took my flight time from 8-10 minutes to 15 minutes on my first flight. I was astounded. And not only did it increase the flight time, but it also gave the heli enough power to accelerate up about 2x as fast and removed the turning problem that happened when I tried this with the old battery. Not to mention it comes with a spacer so it can fit in the MCX without changing anything, and it still fits the charger even though it is a longer battery. Not only have I recommended this to friends, but if I need another battery I am getting the exact same one.

I got these to use in the Champ RTF from Hobby Zone. They are actually an exact match to the original battery that came in the box. One thing to note if you are using one of the quick chargers like the style that come with the Champ, make sure you install the Velcro strips just like the ones on the original battery that comes with the Champ. If you do not trim the strips you will not be able to insert the battery into the charger.

Just got my first of the new 150mAh Eflite batteries. Initial impression is great! Seem to be getting at least 3-4 times the flight times of the old standard batteries (altho some of them may not be at their full capacity anymore)running in the MCX Blade/S300. Will also be using in the Vapor and Micro P51 Mustang planes. Connector is solid, and altho the battery is longer, it still fits great in the helis and planes and the slightly added weight does not seem to bother the COG, may be even better for my flight feel. Fits great in the standard AA chargers as well (might take a bit longer to charge, but worth it). Love it so far! Will have to order more...

In case you are wondering the weight, I measured it on a digital scale - 4.4g
Needed weight when looking for a replacement for a hardwired lipo.

I have 8 of these batteries. they work exceptionally well. I use them in a HZ Champ. I can get 20 minutes or more in calm conditions, I get 15-17 minute flight times in some windy conditions.
these are a great battery. My beef is I bought mine they were a little over $ 3 dollars, now i see they are over $ 8 dollars.

At the rate of price if they raise up anymore no one will be able to buy them, a $5 dollar increase in less than a year is extreme .
Come on Amazon do some price checking............

All and all these batteries are great. I have charged them 30-40 times with no loss of power. I do not allow them to be discharged all the way. When i notice drop in power, I change them out.
Lipo batteries are not to be discharged to low or it can cause damage and internal issues. One needs to bear that in mind and keep an eye on the batteries.even these small 1 cell batteries can cause a problem if not handled correctly.

I will note in heavier windy conditions the flight times decrease and heavy throttle uses them up quick as well. I fly scale and do not do many loops or go very fast , I like the slow , lazy flight, and why I love the Champ and it's appearance in flight. Best plane I think they ever made, for beginners and the experienced. It's just fun to fly and using these e flite 1S25 150mAh 3.7V lipo batteries, helps make that fun last a little longer.

I bought this along with a Parkzone Mini Vapor RTF kit. It almost triples the flight time, but also the charging time. It came with a piece of black tubing (I think that's for making a quick change holder?) and a rather large piece of top/bottom Velcro. Since this battery is about twice as long and seems much heavier than the supplied 30MaH battery that came with the Mini Vapor it of course really throws of the center of gravity setting. Luckily on the mini vapor that's easy to adjust. I ended not using the Velcro (to save weight) and just using a piece of loose (to enable adjusting Center of Gravity) Scotch tape to hold the battery on. Works well with the Mini Vapor~although even if you have multiple batteries charged up and ready to go, you should give the plane's motor some cool-down time. I've read where people fly multiple batteries and burn out the little 6mm motor. Charge time on the supplied Mini Vapor charger is 55 minutes (compared to 25 minutes with the supplied battery). Neither batteries (supplied or this aftermarket) heated up at all during flight or charging. Highly recommended!

These 25C batteries do have more punch than the original 12C 150 mAh e-Flite batteries which I bought 2 years or so ago. I'm using them in an MSR. They are a bit smaller (shorter), and cost 1/2 as much, too. I have about 8 cycles on them so far.

I had bought 10 cheap batteries for $15 from China, and thought they were great, at first. I put all my cells away at full charge last fall, those 10 and 4 if the old 12C e-Flites. This summer when I got my kit out, every one of those non-eFlite cells was puffy and failed. 2 of my 4 e-Flite cells was dead, too, but at least they were not puffy. A 50% failure under improper storage conditions is way better than 100%, especially considering those cells were older. So, back to the manufacturer's brand for me. Puffy cells should not be charged again!

Note that there is a spacer band in the package, don't throw it away. Slide on the cell for same CG as the 120 mAh cells.

If you don't know, store these with a half charge, not full, and they will last longer.
