Needed weight when looking for a replacement for a hardwired lipo.
these are a great battery. My beef is I bought mine they were a little over $ 3 dollars, now i see they are over $ 8 dollars.
At the rate of price if they raise up anymore no one will be able to buy them, a $5 dollar increase in less than a year is extreme .
Come on Amazon do some price checking............
All and all these batteries are great. I have charged them 30-40 times with no loss of power. I do not allow them to be discharged all the way. When i notice drop in power, I change them out.
Lipo batteries are not to be discharged to low or it can cause damage and internal issues. One needs to bear that in mind and keep an eye on the batteries.even these small 1 cell batteries can cause a problem if not handled correctly.
I will note in heavier windy conditions the flight times decrease and heavy throttle uses them up quick as well. I fly scale and do not do many loops or go very fast , I like the slow , lazy flight, and why I love the Champ and it's appearance in flight. Best plane I think they ever made, for beginners and the experienced. It's just fun to fly and using these e flite 1S25 150mAh 3.7V lipo batteries, helps make that fun last a little longer.
I had bought 10 cheap batteries for $15 from China, and thought they were great, at first. I put all my cells away at full charge last fall, those 10 and 4 if the old 12C e-Flites. This summer when I got my kit out, every one of those non-eFlite cells was puffy and failed. 2 of my 4 e-Flite cells was dead, too, but at least they were not puffy. A 50% failure under improper storage conditions is way better than 100%, especially considering those cells were older. So, back to the manufacturer's brand for me. Puffy cells should not be charged again!
Note that there is a spacer band in the package, don't throw it away. Slide on the cell for same CG as the 120 mAh cells.
If you don't know, store these with a half charge, not full, and they will last longer.
