bad experience with abe123 Amazon's seller

I had ordered a new HTC inspire phone from amazon. The package that I received was a total disaster.
1. As per the details of the package, it should include 8 GB SD card. But, when I received the package there was no SD card present.
2. I ordered an unlocked phone. But, I received a locked phone. Also, there a number of Apps that are already installed on the mobile which are specific to AT&T carrier only. Since, I have a T-Mobile carrier so it is not acceptable to me that my phone contains apps for some other carrier.
3. Also, the phone was refurbished. The package details were tampered by the seller.
4. Box was in old and used condition.

I was very upset with the received package so I returned the package which got lost in the return shipment. Amazon declined my claim as I didn't have any tracking number. I requested the seller several times about the package, but the seller never replied. I lost all my money inversted.
The day I sent a feedback about seller on amazon, they replied immediately that they will look into the matter and I have to remove the feedback for the same.

I do not trust this seller at all and will not recommend it to anyone.

did you take a picture of the box or anything that you recieved from the seller?
If so and you paid with a credit card, maybe you can talk to them about reversing the charges (a chargeback).
Did you send your package from the post office? If not and you sent the package using fedex or UPS you can have them give you the tracking number.
If you sent the item back using a return label from Amazon, they will have the tracking on file and you can get it with them. I am sorry to read that you had a bad experience with your seller.
If you tried to activate the phone, the phone will have had some history. Maybe the phone carrier will write to you a statement reflecting that the phone was NOT new.
This could help you a great deal if the seller is stating that they sent you a new phone but the phone company is stating that it has already been activated once.

I would also consider filing a complaint with the postal inspector. Since it is a federal offense to tamper with the mail and you did in fact send it, it is possible that the package could be 'found' after the PI jumps on the case.

Bad things have happened to you but you have learned from them and your advice will help other people with a dispute. Namely to take pictures and get tracking on any package that they return

I bought 1 of BLACKBERRY 9900 8GB Bold Touch Factory Unlocked GSM [ASIN: B005IZ8VM6] on December 28th 2011, Order ID 104-7434507-4340241
The device came with technical problems. It suddenly happened one month after received. I sent so many Letters to the seller explaining the problem and I received no answer.
I contacted Amazon and chatted on line with Them, who recommended me to contact the MAnufacturer to see alternatives. I called To the Manufacturer and They suggested me to contact the Seller (ABE-123).
As I explained to the Seller in many e-mail sent since March 2012, My device started to fail 1 month after I started to use it and I haven't had any way to fix. The Manufacturer says the only way to execute the one year warranty is via the Seller and that The Seller is responsible for it.
I have been trying to contact the Seller since March 2012, 3 month after buying the product without any answer. I need your help in this mater. I think this could affect Amazon's and ABE-123's reputation.
I spent $ 500 plus shipping for Venezuela and got no satisfaction. The product didn't work properly and I have the right to execute the legal one year warranty.

This is serious and this is not a good service. This might be called a scam or fraud.

One would think so but that's how a lot of scam artists work, and on e-bay too. You give them a bad review and you lose all hope of ever getting satisfaction. Plus, on e-bay, they usually give you a bad review as "pay back" so that other's see negative reviews about you. Unfair for sure but that's how these scumbags work.

Good luck with the USPS. I've tried talking to them and no joy. Filed complaints with the USPS IG and basically was blown off.

BTW the USPS seems to have a co-branding deal with UPS/FEDEX etc where UPS/FEDEX etc pick up the package and transfer that to USPS. At which point you're SOL to track much less find the package. Mine are often delivered (against my specific instruction) to an address 5 blocks away.

I sent a registered letter with restricted delivery to the Postmaster General. Came back with a note: Refused, Addressee Unknown.

Now everything I buy is via a CC. No show/bad deal and I file a complaint at which time my CC credits me and deals with the vendor.

I thought that the label generated by the company is the tracking number... which was not in actual. I don't know what happened to the package. I tried filing a complaint but they told me that you need to produce the tracking number...I showed them the receipt that that I actually swiped my debit card to send the package,,,but it didn't worked..
I tried really hard for two-three months to reach to a conclusion, but no success so far.

Now, I treat this as my donation to a poor company which is not doing well and whose source of income is making money this way.

Did not receive the memory card with the movie so I called and he sent a card taken from a blackberry. After going back and forth he told to me buy the moive and he'll refunded the cost which he did. I'm glad it worked out but I still have the Avatar app on the phone which is of no use and I can't delete it unless I root the phone which sucks.
