The Road to El Dorado

I was supposed to receive this item this past Tuesday, according to my Amazon Prime membership. It is now Friday, and I still haven't received it. I've checked the tracking info every day since Tuesday to see where my package was, and every time I check, it says "Arrival Scan" in Peabody, MA. The address it was supposed to be delivered to is in Danvers, MA, so it should have arrived by now.

Did the post office lose my package or something? It's not an expensive item, but this is really starting to irritate me.

Have you tried calling the (UPS, I'm assuming) department in Peabody, MA to find out if they can tell you more? Also, check with your Post Office. It could have been dropped off there for some reason. I went through this some time back with a different merchant (not Amazon). Turns out, they delivered it to my local Post Office, who was then to deliver it to me. Frustrating. Anyway, I'd suggest first go to the UPS site, get the customer service number, and speak to someone there who can maybe give you more answers. I hope you get it soon.

It wasn't UPS it was USPS, the normal postal service.

Is it possible that you have an old shipping address on file with Amazon, that your purchase was accidentally defaulted to? In your Amazon account, go to Orders, then on the left column click the "see invoice" option as well as "order details," just to be sure. It could possibly happen if you have more than one address, like a friend or old address, that you have ever shipped anything to. Has your payment method been charged? While waiting for Monday to roll around to call the Post Office, you might want to call Amazon and see if they can find more information out on their end. I'm sorry I don't have more suggestions that I can think of at the moment. I hope your package arrives and this all gets cleared up for you, I know it is plain frustrating.

You should be talking to Amazon.

You paid Amazon to have them deliver some merchandise to them. Do you have it? Nope. So shouldn't it be obvious that you should start by talking to Amazon?

I have not got my order yet even that when I search for it by the track number shows my that it is delivered

Looking at the info that tracking number provides - it appears the package was returned (delivered) to the sender..
