I bought an Asus laptop a few months ago (the Asus K40IN) and it comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo T660 processor, 4GB RAM, 320GB Hard Drive and an NVIDIA 512 MB Graphics Card. I'm pretty happy with its speed but the thing is I don't get to use it much because of how the color display comes out.
When I digitally paint with Photoshop using my custom built desktop, the colors in my artwork look good. But with the Asus laptop the colors don't come out as accurately, they become too bright/garish. Is there any way to adjust the colors (calibration?) in this unit so that it comes out close to what's in my desktop? I don't want to have to sell this :( Right now I want a laptop that has reasonable color accuracy and depth...if not like a desktop, at least close to it.
