I am looking for a stroller for walking (not jogging/running) that folds up relatively small and can be used for grocery shopping and adventures in the city. The main requirements are: huge storage basket underneath, a canopy, and a 5 point harness. I would like it to be under $200 but would accept all suggestions, of course :) Thanks for your help!

Check out the joovy kooper (folds up like an umbrella stroller) or the joovy scooter (not as compact, but bigger basket). Both have fabulous canopies and 5 point harnesses.

Could the Britax B-Agile Stroller, Red work for you? They fold fairly small, considering. If you want a decent basket, you'll probably have to give up your dreams of a compact stroller.

I have a Mutsy Mutsy Easyrider Umbrella Stroller, Purple, and it has decent storage for a lightweight stroller. If you need more, you can always get J.L. Childress Side Sling Stroller Cargo Net, Black to add on. However, if you need to carry more than a few groceries or big things, there is no way you can use a lightweight stroller

I am not so worried about the lightweight/small features. The basket, canopy and the 5 point harness are the key points

I still say the Britax B-Agile Stroller, Red. It's in your price range, has a large canopy, good storage, and the obligatory 5pt harness. Baby Jogger City Mini Single Stroller, Blue/Gray is very similar to the B-Agile, but the basket is a little larger and it is a little more expensive.

If you can go up in price, than the UPPAbaby Cruz Stroller, Jake has a very large storgae basket plus a reversible seat - not to mention a great canopy!!

When I was searching, I did not see anything close to the huge storage capacity of the UppaBaby Vista. It is not cheap and will not fold up very small, though. I use it daily, I live in Brookline, MA (Boston area) for shopping by foot (great) and by public transit (I try to avoid rush hours). It's my SUV--I don't have a car.

I love our Joovy stroller! we have the sit and stand one so the basket is pretty small. But if you have one child you may still consider getting a sit and stand style stroller since there is so much room in the back of the stroller (as long as there is no kid in it lol) I considered getting the Bumbleride Queen B, it's expensive, but you can get a lightly used one for a good price. There is a MASSIVE amount of space underneath.

We love the huge basket on our UPPAbaby Cruz. I still can't believe how much we can fit down there. I prefer it to the UPPAbaby Vista basket because there's no crossbar in the basket space.

The Chicco Cortina has a massive basket and is reasonably priced. They're all over Craigslist gently used.

You probably already got your stroller, but I was very happy with the Contours Lite which can be found at Sears and online. Not a really fancy stroller, but for the price ($70), it is great for around town. HUGE basket. I left mine on the sidewalk in downtown Charleston and now I am looking to replace it. I may get the same stroller again. My only complaint is that it is not that solid/sturdy feeling.

I'm late to the thread but I'm adding my two cents for people who find it via Google like I did.

I have a somewhat dated Evenflo stroler with a larger basket than any mentioned in this thread, unless their photos are deceiving ;)

I got it off Craigslist and don't know what model it is but it's the best stroller I've ever had (its my 7th stroller, btw. I kept upgrading). I've had fancy strollers but this one is the best. It's smooth, easy to maneuver, sturdy enough for off-road strolls, and the basket is huge. I use it for grocery shopping (we walk everywhere) and it fits a week's worth of groceries for our family of four just fine. It's not fashionable (it's just black) but it could beat up any other stroller. I love it.
