El Cid desperately needs release on BD. It's a spectacular film that would look wonderful in HD.

Adding to your Disney list, I ask why aren't Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and The Black Hole on Blu-ray? It's been more than long enough now.

I would like to see a Blu Ray release of "On Golden Pond". It's currently only available in standard definition on DVD. Many of these older films are available for streaming through Amazon in high definition but they are not released on Blu Ray. It puzzles me why they have the HD masters to release these older films on Blu Ray yet you can only buy them in standard definition on regular DVD. Yet they can be streamed in high definition. Maybe the studios feel there is no market for sell through of older catalog titles. They have the HD masters already for streaming. I just don't get it. I would like to add on to this too that other great movies are available for streaming in high definition but yet not available for sale on Blu Ray but just on standard definition DVD's. Like the Paramount Elvis Presley titles including "Blue Hawaii", the Jerry Lewis feature film comedies, even the Three Stooges feature films for Columbia are available for streaming in high definition. But yet only available on standard definition DVD's. Also the 1960's live action Walt Disney feature films like the Fred MacMurray titles and other classic live action Disney titles are not out on Blu Ray. Does anyone know why these types of classic movies are not out on Blu Ray. Yet available for streaming in high defintion. Do the studios feel there is no market for these older catalog titles for Blu Ray release? I will continue to collect 16mm prints as well. Thank's for any and all replies.

I would like a Blu-ray version of the "Lost in Space" tv series from the 60's. Also, that old movie, "The Green Slime".
Judging from toys and memorabilia from this genre, they are only going up in value. A bobble of Robby the Robot is now $55.00. I bought the same one 2 years ago for $14.00.
There's got to be a large group of people who enjoy this cheesy, old stuff, that so endeared our childhood.

I would like a superior Blu-ray version of Lynch's Dune than the one available now. The colors and images on this BD don't pop off the screen, so to speak. This BD doesn't look better than the HD DVD version, which is a good transfer itself, but I was expecting the BD to look even more impressive. What are the chances we'll get one, do you think? If one appears, I'll be pre-ordering it the day it's announced.

While we're at it, how about a pristine, stereo soundtrack (the elements exist) restoration on Blu-Ray for a 60th Anniversary release of Walt Disney's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea"? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AGREE!! the 3-D version of "House of Wax" is How about putting out the 3-D version of "Kiss Me Kate"? The elements, as I understand, are still in good shape, and have been shown in a selected market recently. What is the hold up with this? I'm sure that there are enough people who would buy this and warrant the expense of doing a new Blu-Ray restoration and transfer to 3-D. PLEASE DO THIS!!!!!!!!

Highway to Hell

No seriously. It's a 91 movie that has only ever been released on VHS. I would even settle for a dvd release.

Would love to see (but I'm almost without hope now) Kiss Me Kate in the original 3-D. That film is such a joy and such a great classic, it's hard to imagine why it hasn't been produced on Blu-ray. Maybe they lost part of the original projected films? Or maybe they just don't think the many of us who would buy it would make enough money for them? Who knows?

Still waiting and hoping for good transfers to Blu Ray for the unedited version of The Abyss and True Lies. Been waiting for a long, long time.
