High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Anyone use this to lose weight?

Hmmm....didn't know they had this forum. HIIT is Interval alternate periods of low and high intensity for a short period of time. For example speed walk for 1 min and the sprint for 30 secs. for a 25 min workout. Anyone use this method with success? What did you think of it?

Yep, it worked for me, when I had access to the gym and would do this on both the exercise bike and the elliptical. Though, using the exercise bike is more effective.. it's just tougher and it drives up your metabolism between workouts more than the other machine. I do 12 min top, alternating between 30 sec high intensity, 90 second recovery, over again.
