Men wearing stiletto heeled knee boots ROCK!!! Should they be worn properly, with the right sizing [not to tight], even leg pants-jeans [not skinny], right heel height and boot style, they look awesome on men!! I'm a heterosexual male, with a beautiful girlfriend, not gay [don't have anything against gay's, I respect them], and I'm a lover of knee high platform heeled boots! Whether stiletto, or chunky heel; as long as they're worn properly - they ROCK!!!! Most women love it!! It's different, and most men's casual shoes, are just plain out-right boring! I've worn several platform knee boots, and that's just my style! Some 6" inches!! However, not everyday; Just whenever I feel like being different, or in the mood. Heels, are worn according to feeling, tone of the moment or expression!!

Well, BigTen79, I don't think stiletto heels are very comfortable or practical for walking around the city. Personally I can't wear them for more than half-an-hour before my arches ache and they are definitely a tripping hazard when you get the heel caught in a grating or a wide crack in the side walk. But, that said, they do look great at a party or for cocktail hour, especially with long satin trousers. Just my opinion.

I know some guys who do wear stiletto heel boots and they look fabulous! They dress to kill in a chic gothy style with an androgynous leaning look. Girls for them never seem in short supply either.

I've always liked the looks of these on women, and I figured that why can men wear them also.
Where is a quality place to purchase stiletto heel boots? Also, does the differnce in the manufacturer make a difference in the sizing difference from men to women?
I've seen where one site suggests 2 size difference and then the next site suggests only one size difference. Any info on this will help.

Looks awesome, hurts like hell. Still easier to walk in stiletto boots than just stiletto pumps though.

Dunno, seems like it would be a musician thing...some odd genre thing, or a gay thing.

...or some gay, genre musician thing.

Like this guy.

I was in the music industry for years, never could get into dudes more effeminate than me...and I grew up in the 80's. LOL : P

...but if you are looking for effeminate, then stilettos will get you there fast.

To each his own, just be prepared that they are seriously bad for your do that too much, you will have some hideous feet.

...nothing attractive about bunions and corns. LOL

well the 2 size difference is truth in a way, what i mean is that you at least will be 2 sizes up, if you are 10men then 12 womens in general, but also it depends on the brand, i'm 10 men and in pleaser shoes 14 womens,

I don't know why men would want to since I think it's a definite advantage that fashion never put men in heels. Back pain, arch pain, toe pain and the inability to move as freely and quickly means most men would not want to. Just not comfortable. But if you want to wear stilettos, I imagine there are two impediments (1) you'll be viewed as a cross-dresser and (2) you may have trouble finding something that fits. If you wear a man's size 11, I don't know where you'd find women's shoes to fit your feet. But I'm sure if you call one of the clubs for cross-dressers, they'd certainly know and be able to help you. I also suspect there are places on-line.

I have no problem with anyone wearing whatever they want too. I love the androgynous look. Just so they have an orthopedic surgeon and a podiatrist on hand for a few years down the road...I see no reason why men can't mess up their feet, knees and backs just like us girls!

Guess cow manure wouldn't be hard to hose off. Don't think it would be a good fashion statement for around the farm...... Mrs. "B"

Personally, I think they're sexy as heck. But a lot of people I know wouldn't be into that at all. So I guess it depends on who you ask. :3

By all means, yes, men should wear high-heeled stilettos. Let them suffer as we women have suffered. 1,000 years of bound feet must be avenged!

It is a 2 size difference and if it's boots I'd say go for 3 sizes. Also remember women's shoes are not as wide as men's. This site has an amazing selection of platform boots and shoes for men, and I did see one chunky high heel boot as well. No stilettos for men, but I think the platform or chunky heel would look better on a guy (imo). By all means if you are looking specifically for women's shoes, there are millions of drag sites that would LOVE to get you into a 7 inch stiletto that will cripple you for life! LOL. Just google "drag stiletto boots" and voila!

Uh, wow. Well, first of all, anybody can wear anything they want. I don't see what is wrong with older women wearing tight or short clothes (young or old shouldn't wear both at the same time) and large women can wear what they want and men can wear makeup or heels or anything.

I won't lie and say I would just *love* for my husband to do this because I wouldn't. But my husband is so old fashioned he won't wear pink or lavender and sometimes yellow, so this is not a problem.

Wear what you like but if you haven't done it before, keep in mind that stillettos are not for the faint of heart. Try to have them made for you because you need extra support and the best way to get it is custom.
