I have a great diet suggestion. Its called the Amazon diet. Get a job at a very busy warehouse and work there for about 8 months you will lose a ton of weight so far i have lost 50 lbs. Thank you Amazon diet

I am not familiar with grazing but with my life style change and loss of over 50lbs I do NOT go hungry. If I need a snack I eat low cal good fillers like just carrots, or a salad with low or no fat dressing.

Very bad to feel deprived. I have to admit not watching TV with all its food comercials helps.

I have to disagree that the body will burn the food and not the fat off your body because if what you put in your tum is no/low calorie the body has to burn calories to disgest it. Thus you are satisfying your hunger and avoid an unhealthy binge or unhealthy snack.

Celery is great. popcorn, organic cooked old fashioned way with a little olive oil, there is fat free butter in a squezz tube now, to drizzel it, and i love a little parmesan cheese shakered on , it has just enough salt in it to give taste and not water retention.
My latest dreamiest sweet healthy snack is , oh wait , i was saving that for my book, lol.

Oh, and I lost the weight without surgery , running walking arobic exercise of any kind. yep , got some toning to do and that is going well and easy and NO SWEAT!
Snack all you want to on no/low calorie food. never feel deprived, of food and or tastes and you won't over eat the bad stuff, like fried foods, NO FRIED FOODS. simmer in a little olive oil only if need be. happy losing everyone.

Sorry, there is no "magic pill" that actually, truly, really, long-term works. I know - I've tried just about ALL of them.

The way I lost 105 lbs. was:

-- Cut back my calories
-- Eat SENSIBLE foods
-- Went to nutritionist for that added help
-- Got food proportioned plates. In the U.S. / North America, the portions are STUPIDLY dangerous. If it's enough to feed two people, then it's bad for one!
-- SLOWLY start an exercise program. Your doctor might be able to help you get in with a program for little money. OR - buy Susan Powter's books - they actually make a LOT of sense (and how I started my 105 lb. change of life). Stop the Insanity! Eat, Breathe, Move, Change the Way You Look and Feel--Forever
-- Realize it's going to take TIME. I did it quickly -- 18 months for 105 lbs.

I was 32 and relatively healthy, other than being 230 lbs. ! My friend had asked me to be part of her wedding party, and I was going to see ALL my college classmates - who last saw me at 150 lbs. That was my "get moving" moment.

Sadly, for me, I never DID learn how to cook properly. I ate LOTS of "Lean Cuisine," so I did know the portion sizes, and would eat sensible snacks in-between meals. BUT ... if you (me) don't learn how to sit down, plan a week of food, do the shopping, cooking, packing and freezing, then it WILL come back.

After I lost that weight, bought all new clothes, met a wonderful man (16 yrs later, we're still together - and I'm NOT the way I looked when he met me...), felt wonderful .... but, when I stopped buying Lean Cuisine, I had no where to turn. Sure, I bought many GREAT cookbooks, but, oh, it was SUCH a hassle to do all that WORK.

YUP, and now I'm right back where I started, but with Diabetes, a damaged back and knees from all that sudden and continuous exercise (heck, I even had "exercise anemia," because I was doing TOO much) -- and, who knows, did I make myself open to cancer which hit me 5 years later? I don't know.

I DO know that NOTHING out there on a shelf is going to help. Not Slim Fast (lost a gall bladder using that!); none of the "for women only" type of hype pills.

Only hard work, exercise, proper eating, taking time FOR YOURSELF, relaxation and lowering stress -- all this will help to get you where you want to be.

BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

peace....

Connie

You have your point.
I know that most people who are obese do have a plan, and will and still cannot overcome the feeling of hunger.
That is why diet pills work for me and I will stay on them as long as I will have to.
I my life I only met few slim people which were totally in control, more than 99% need help and that is why I am talking about my own experience with this stuff.

If you don't get protein every four hours or so you will start to store fat so make sure you get vegetable protein or a supplement. I prefer Herbalife healthy meal shake mix it is also vegetable and fruit.

@Raymond - I have tried Addrena and really like it. I always sweat so much when I take it before the gym. I actually just placed an order for No-Stim today! Can't wait to try it.

Have you tried no salt added to your food and drink lots of water and get at least eight hours of sleep? I lost 80lbs in six months on these simple changes ,also add more vegies and fruit to your diet with exercise.

Tim Ferris recommends 30 g of whey..it gives the body the protein it needs and satisfies hunger. I like Collagen Sport...no synthetic sugars, only 123 calories. I take it in cold coffee so no additional calories are added. Tastes great with either the chocolate or vanilla, just stir in.

I found a great product. they claim that you need to reduce the amount of toxins in our body so your body does not create fat to store them in. The program is a cellular cleanse with a meal replacement shake to replenish your body with nutrition on a cellular level. I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks, and lost the cravings for sweets and junk food. I feel great, I sleep better, I'm more focused, less joint pain and more energy. You can check out the videos on the cleans and products at www.LiveGreatToday.Isagenix.com If you would like more information click on contact info and you'll find my information.
Also if you would like to watch a video on age reversal go to. http://tinyurl.com/scienceandaging

The best thing for me is Atkins. I go on it to jump start my diet. I found a good diet pill online (Phenphedrine is the diet pill that works for me) and then I go on Atkins. I have lost 16 pounds in 5 weeks. The diet pill really has helped quicken my success but I have been very disciplined at eating well and exercising regularly. Weight loss is a lot of hard work. I have now gone back to a more normal eating routine but I have really reduced my portions. Atkins helped my stomach shrink and helped curb my cravings for sweets. I still take the phenphedrine because it is the best diet pill and it gives me energy and makes me feel full. I am still losing weight (Quicker than I though) and I know that the PHenphedrine is a big role in that.

TOPS is also a great alternative, they are much less pricey than Weight Watchers and you dont do the 'points' thing, they are not selling a product they are providing a service, for a fraction of the price of WW. Check out their site, I have had great success with them.

Calories don't make you fat - CARBS make you fat. Want to truly lose weight? Quit eating junk. Eat ALOT of protein and very little carbs (less than 60 g per day). You will see the weight come off. You won't be hungry (after the first week at least). Fill up on yummy high protein foods like eggs, sausage, cheese, bacon, pepperoni, cottage cheese, turkey, apples, peanut butter, broccoli and nuts. You'll be glad you did it!!!

Beth: Congrats to you and keep up the good work! I know itis a challenge. You might try a product called Black Dragon, made by Blue Poppy Co. , it has a large dose of chinese oolong tea and it has helped me along with 7-keto but as this is a hormonal type product I think it could be dangerous for Women. Raspberry ketones only gave me heartburn.
