Everything is fine with Islam.

Gobsmacked.

I actually believed that he would likely sidestep the question.
But he actually replied head on.
Its kind of the North Korea of major religions, isnt it?

People like Bookish are why every Muslim country is a third world hell hole stuck in the sixth century. The sad thing is they don't evern see where the blame lies. Islam is anti-technology, anti-civilization and in the end anti-humanity.

You're an admitted racist and hater, so your opinions are only of low propaganda value. Hence your low assignment.

You don't know Islam, and confuse Islam with what Muslims do. It's not been the case since the death of the Prophet and the end of revelation.

Following his death, three of the four rightly-guided leaders were murdered and power passed to those mostly interested in personal wealth and power, so spiritual fortunes have been in decline since especially the 3rd generation's passing. Radicals now claim they are the only ones in 1200 and more years to follow Islam, but they are just an imitation of Jewish and Christian fundamentalists.

You are anti-humanity and pro-master-race (and they hate you because you are an atheist).

Susanna says:
No, China is worse, pollution wise and "resource" wise. There isno compunction about using parts of endangered species--tigers, elephants, name it, they kill it and ingest it, in order for the men to do what they apparently can't do naturally.

No. The US is #1 per capita, and only recently fell behind China in volume. The difference is that the US had sane moments in the 60-70s. Even the Republicans paused when lakes started on fire!

And yes, I think the nations are following the West down the garden path to perdition. It's sad because, there's enough for everyone.

You have no depth.

Sorry Bookish, you are wrong. I'm pro-humanity and I want to see every human being excell. Unlike you and your co-religionists who are slaves to Allah and whose religion constrains them to medieval ways of life and beliefs. That's why no Islamic country has a modern technological base and has to import westerners and easterners to operate what little tech Islamic countries can keep going. Your religion is only good for creating ignorant babies who are raised not to question authority and the word of Mahommad.

Susanna says:
Per capita maybe. I tried to google it and realized we would have to have a broader definition of pollution than what I was thinking to get an accurate answer.

The following article, while informative, appears to be factoring pollution by its effect on human disease, which for those concerned with the effects on other species--we aren't the only ones here as I know you know--and the overall environment, it is pretty much a useless definition.

Nevertheless, some interesting info:

The Top Ten Sources by Global Burden of Disease

This report illustrates the tremendous burden put on the health of the world's population by the release of toxic pollution from industrial and mining processes. As noted, these estimates of global disease burdens from toxic pollution are likely undervalued as many of the suspected and known health impacts of pollution are currently unquantifiable. In addition, pathway types, sampling capabilities, demographic data and access to polluted sites limited these estimates. However, this first attempt to assign DALYs to top polluting industrial sources clearly demonstrates the scope of the problem.

The Top 10 worst polluted places in the world are:

1.Chernobyl, Ukraine
2.Dzerzhinsk, Russia
3.Haina, Dominican Republic
4.Kabwe, Zambia
5.La Oroya, Peru
6.Linfen, China
7.Maiuu Suu, Kyrgyzstan
8.Norilsk, Russia
9.Ranipet, India
10.Rudnaya Pristan/Dalnegorsk, Russia

This really surprised me, especially about the dye industry. I knew it was bad, but not that bad--and check out that nassstay tannery operation stat--

Top Ten Toxic Industries:

Battery Recycling Source #1
Lead Smelting Source #2
Mining and Ore Processing Source #3
Tanneries Source #4
Industrial/Municipal Dumpsites Source #5
Industrial Estates Source #6
Artisanal Gold Mining Source #7
Product Manufacturing Source #8
Chemical Manufacturing Source #9
Dye Industry #10

Yes, the Americans demanded environmental reform and were somewhat successful until Cheney. Overall though American use the most resources and pollute heavily. The 20th century was The American Century after all.

I'm surprised that petroleum or coal isn't the #1 pollution industry. I wonder if that list could be defined differently.

Your spiritual reality is with pharaoh, drowning in ignorance.

You might look into something abstract but uplifting like:

But I did like this better:
