Californian says:
Bought a Nesco 700 watt dehydrator from Amazon and I want to make beef jerky. After researching the Internet about making beef jerky, should I be concerned about botulism?

Sorry, posted in wrong forum, meant to be in a kitchen forum.

no. just make sure that you use good quality beef, not some that is going to spoil. Also make you you use enough salt/soy sauce and set the temp. and time correctly. Enjoy.
