Reed Beebe says:
I wanted to write the shortest horror story ever written. My understanding is that this honor is currently credited to Fredric Brown's "Knock". Published in a 1948 issue of Thrilling Wonder Stories, the horror story consists of two sentences totaling seventeen words - "The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door..." My sixteen word horror story "Maze" was published in Issue 4 of the horror webzine Inner Sins. Have I set a new record, or is there a shorter published horror story?

Well done Reed Beede! Although I'm gonna write an even shorter horror story! And here it is:

The End.

Awww...... I'm only joking ;) 'boo' is not a story its just a word, well actually it is more of a sound then a word! Good luck with your new record RB! :)

Not published, but here's mine:

You are going to die.

Actually, I plan on expanding that, but in a way it does stand on it's own.

That is pretty scary Nick! :)

One of the best lines from "The Bang Bang Theory" was when Sheldon said: "O deity whose existence I doubt, why hast thou forsaken me?"

LOL! That made me giggle, Kinks.

I LMAO'ed off when I heard it. Sheldon called the police when someone hacked into his video game and stole his digital treasure.

Too funny, Kinks!

Hey, Eric! Those were pretty funny, thanks for posting!
I really like the Joss Whedon and Margaret Atwood ones. :)
