"No More Tears" is about a psychopathic killer. It's an awesome song. Great guitar solo.

T. Jones says:
I have always thought "Hurdy-Gurdy Man" by Donovan to be really unsettling and creepy. There is something very disturbing hidden in that song, lol.

When i was young i had a 45 of Grand Funk Railroad..either "Bad Time" or "Shinin On" i think it was..The flipside was a song called "Good and Evil"..It used to creep me out a bit..It was very unlike other GFR songs i'd ever heard. The vocals are kind of distorted i guess is one reason it was creepy..it was sort of a cool song,in a way,but kind of freaky too.

edit:Maybe the 45 was Some kind of Wonderful too..don't remember.

The Family and the Fishing Net by Peter Gabriel is pretty creepy. As is his song, Intruder.

Rusty Truck's "Cold Ground." It was used as the end title for an early episode of "True Blood" and I had to track it down.

I still can't decide if the song's pov/character is a stalker or a vampire. Either way, it's my favorite creepy song.

Ms. Brentano says:
@T. Jones- I have to agree with you on Aqualung. I was surprised that no one mentioned that until your response. That song has some of the creepiest lyrics EVER
P.S.- Lol. You're not my cousin Terence are you?

Seance In The Sixth Fret by Exuma wasn't just creepy. It, quite literally, scared the hell out of me! As a matter of fact, that whole album (Exuma The Obeah Man) was like that. Great music though. Is anyone else familiar with it?

Alice Cooper - Welcome to My Nightmare, Be My Frankenstein
AC/DC - Hell's Bells
Rob Zombie - Living Dead Girl, Dragula
Screamin' Jay Hawkins - I Put a Spell on You
John Carpenter - Theme from Halloween
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Red Right Hand

Savage Lucy says:
Pretty much everything Rob Zombie does is a little creepy. Especially his album Educated Horses. Even the title is creepy to me.

Also mention New York Dolls' Frankenstein.

Nick Cave, anyone? "The Carney" is one of the creepiest songs I've ever heard, in a lifetime of seaching out anything creepy. The music by Julee Cruze used in Twin Peaks was really astmospheric, and what gave the show much of its unsettling feel

Fleetwood Mac - Hypnotized
Stevie Wonder/Stevie Ray Vaughn - Superstitious

I gotta give a shout-out to my favorite heavy metal boys.
Queensryche- Gonna Get Close To You.
Try listening to it alone in the dark on headphones- very chilling!

@J. Totaro - If you like to search out creepy songs, listen to Seance In The Sixth Fret by Exuma. That song, in particular, and the whole album, in general, will creep you out. Plus, the music is great too. It's probably unlike anything else you've ever heard before.
