Hope says:
How can I type notes from my classes on this device? Would I have to buy a keyboard or like the Ipad it's on the tablet?

You should be able to copy from the cd to the Fire over the usb cable. Of course the comic book must be in a Kindle readable format.

B. Wright says:
Depends on the format the comic is. If you plug your fire into your PC via USB you can transfer files to it.

The Kindle Fire has a virtual keyboard like the iPad. You can also use a bluetooth keyboard with it.

The Blade says:
Turn Airplane Mode "On". That will turn your wireless off.

Yes, I have a Kindle and seldom have it online (except to downline new books) I got a Kindle Fire for my husband but it appears to always be online (wifi).
