I've been working with tech support for the past couple of days to understand why my Fire HD doesn't appear as a "removable storage device"when connected to my iMac via the Amazon USB cable.
The Fire HD User Guide indicates that it should appear in Finder but it does not. This is an issue when using Calibre because Calibre depends upon recognizing the Fire HD to transfer content.
Have any other Mac users experienced this problem? If so, were you able to resolve this issue and how?
Windows users do not have this problem.
