*pulls from pocket a long red and green braided ribbon*

*continues pulling ribbon from pocket with both hands, pooling ribbon on the floor*

*a large brass key finally pops from pocket*

*unlocks and opens the large oak door*

*smells fresh paint and new wood floors*

*flips light switches so that light floods a giant, empty room*

*smiles contentedly*

*closes door, being sure to leave it unlocked, and walks away*

* presses body against large and heavy oak doors to get them open*

sheesh those doors are heavy. *wipes sweat from forehead..*

*looks around the large room, ... scratches forehead*

Boy do I have my work cut out for me, better get started.

* pushes doors wide open, puts down door stops to keep them open and walks out*

* waves head back to get bangs out of her face while lugging in a box of decoration *

My gosh was that box heavy!

* looks around for an easier way to bring in the load of boxes and bags in the car *

* finds the storage room, bumps into an object * ouch!! that hurt. * turns on the light to the small room and finds a cart with 2 shelves, smiles * this will work perfectly.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! * rides the cart out the door. *

<peeks in>
<waits for Jess to ride the cart all the way out the door>
<sprinkles some pixie dust>
<watches as the room fills with sparkly white lights>
<hears JJ returning>
<slips behind the folding screen to watch the fun>

* pushes cart in so that it stops wherever it may *

* closes doors behind her and walks up to the radio * Music always helps the work go by faster.

a beautiful big, tall and full green tree in every corner of the room. Nothing like the smell of pine to set the mood.

* pushes the tall ladder next to the first tree *

* grabs a HUGE red bow with long ribbon trailing down all sides and climbs the ladder. *

* places the bow on top of the tree, spreads the ribbon so that it goes down all sides *

* climbs down the ladder, looks up at the tree *

* walks to the cart with boxes and grabs box marked 'tree #1' and returns to the tree. *

* carefully pulls out 5 dozen fully bloomed red Roses and begins to remove the leaves *

*slowly inhales * Mmmmmm these smell wonderful.

<peers out from her hiding place>

Jess, my opening speech mentions that there are sections decorated to commemorate other winter holidays too, so don't miss those boxes!

Posted on Dec 6, 2012 6:59:33 PM PST
* hangs silver snowflake randomly throughout the tree to give it spark *

* crunches on a cheese dorito while searching for the glass teardrops *

Mmmmmm, oh, there they are, * grabs the bag at bottom of the box *

*begins placing the droplets, one by one at the ends of every branch*

I must say, this is looking great...

* climbs ladder once more, slowly tosses small amounts of fake snow downward *

* climbs down and admires finished tree *

Amazing, what a sight... now to do the other three...

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 6, 2012 7:00:47 PM PST

*walks up the the front wall and begins to hang the MINI stockings with the BIG gifts on the chimney* one for every RAOKer* red for regulars and green for visitors.

* places a Poinsettia on each end of the chimney shelf and two more at each end of the chimney floor *

O.K. trees are done, wreaths are on door, stockings are hung up, glitter is all over the floor, pixie dust is lighting up the room, flowers are set out....

only table covers and balloons to go...

* walks over to the cart and loosens the 12 dozen balloons she tied to it *

silver and red balloons, can't go wrong with these... * lets loose of all the balloons and watches them cover the ceiling *

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 6, 2012 7:18:39 PM PST
