PJ says:
So this is your own AP? As in you are hawking it here under the guise of needing help? Just asking

Never heard of it, but self promotion is not allowed here.

Reported.

Sounds like self-promotion to me too.

I wish! Viber is definitely not mine. FWIW Viber is on about 150M pc's and iPhones already. I use it all the time talking with people in Asia. From what I see Viber is better known in Asia than here, at least so far. I just want to put it on my Kindle HD is all and cannot figure out how to download it into the HD.

The question remains, how can I install it on my Fire HD?

Not my app.

I said "my own app" meaning it is not on the Amazon list of apps.

Jazzy_Jeff says:
You need to allow 3rd party apps in the settings. Not sure how to do this since I don't have the Fire.

Artist says:
There's a user's guide on your Fire that explains how to allow 3rd party apps.

Thanks, Blaiz

I will also be looking for a description of the end fittings for the HDMI cable. The fittng on the Fire HD is tiny (7 to 8 cm), smaller than the fittings on my other equipment. Apparently that's an "A" or a "C" termination (?)

The Blade says:
Inventor,

The fitting on the Fire is called a micro HDMI. Here is the cable that I use:

BlueRigger High Speed Micro HDMI to HDMI cable with Ethernet (6 Feet)
