Hi, I have a issue with my new Kindle Paperwhite when connecting to the internet. I could see my wifi when scanning in the PW. However, as soon as I entered the password, my wifi died. No devices could detect the wifi any more unless I reboot the router. This really frustrates me a lot. Does anyone have the similar issue? Please let me know what I could do about this~ Thx!

This is generally a problem with the router. Rebooting the router was the right answer. If you see this continuing you should look into updating the firmware in your router as well.

This happens to my Kindle Touch as well but I have never thought about updating the firmware in my router. I also went to my friends' apartments to see if this problem happens. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. Yes, I will try to do this later. Hope it works! Thank you so much!

Sounds like your router is either going out or may need a firmware update. You will have to check with the company that makes your router to see if there is an update.

OMG. Thank you. We've been standing around the water cooler waiting to hear your decision. Finally, I can go. And I mean GO!
