2.5 Kbits/s is the fastest DSL speed available to me at my location. Is this fast enough to stream movies from Prime using a Fire HD?

That should work. You may see some buffering but it should be minimal.

There are different speeds of DSL available though. Not all are fast enough.

Thanks. I have ordered a Fire HD 8.9 and am considering a Prime membership if my connection speed is fast enough to stream movies.

I guess I will find out during the free month of Prime.
