I have the 2012 8.9 as well at the 2015 fire. When i looked up the app on my computer it only said that it was good for the new fire and no mention of my 2012. Sad to say life moves on and apps have a lifespan. I have an old ipod touch that works but has become useless because it is version 4 and i think apple software is at 10 now. My 2012 tablet still works but apps are starting to stop working and i can't download newer ones.
It is not really sad because it is progress. As someone old enough to have wasted quarters playing pong and pacman- and now seeing what we have now is mind blowing.

The game still runs on their old machines fine, and even shows on the 8.9HD under "manage content" under parental controls based on my having added it to their profile from the older Kids Kindles... but that's the only place I spot it on the 8.9HD; even exiting parental controls and searching the app store as myself it isn't found on that device. I guess I can check software versions. They LOVE that game so it'll be a bummer if I can't get it based on OS version.

Similar issues - my kids have had Kids Kindle for a couple years. Upgraded to Kindle 8.9... now certain apps (example: Bloxels Builder) don't seem to exist anymore: can't even see it in the app store. I'm sync'd correct datetime, etc.

"tried to download lookout (firewall and antivirus) and it said it was incompatible or it was already installed. I couldnt find it neverless Any ideas please"

I bought an audiobook on my line fire hd, when I went to listen to it it doesn't show up on cloud or device, I went to store looked up title , It said its in it library, so I click on the book and it says error can't find in your library-. I've tried everything, but I can listen to it on my iphone....any suggestions????

When installing apps to my new Kindle Fire as well as my mom's last month, I had no trouble downloading apps from my laptop where it was easier for me to manage them. They installed without syncing at all. Different story today with my cousin's new Fire--it shows the apps have been purchased and installed and it's been synced and it's from the same Amazon account, etc. etc. and it still won't show the apps on her device in the Cloud or in the apps library. We initially tried to set her new Fire up on Christmas eve and couldn't even access the download, though we did get Amazon online.

I go to "Forward Chess". It says the app is installed on my Kindle Fire HD. I cannot find it in the apps or anywhere else on the kindle fire.

Ive been having issues too. I went to the Amazon store online and purcahsed Batman Arkham Origins. It says installed app on website, but game is not in cloud or device. Please help me out.

So I've had my fire phone for about a month now and just this morning whenever I log onto my phone, my apps don't appear on the home screen. I can still go onto the apps just fine, but it's just tedious for me to re-download all of my apps from my cloud. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
