Cheryl, thank you so much. I have been trying to figure this out for about 3 hours now. Your method worked in like 5 seconds. Awesome.
Thank you...RL

Cheryl, Thank You very much for this post. I got my wife's kindle fire HD 10 to pair with her new LG Tone HBS-730 headset. This is the only helpful answer I could find.

This headset works extremely well on my Fire HD 6!

I am so happy that worked out. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks! That worked. We have had the Tones for a good while and couldn't find the manual. Hadn't gone to the trouble of looking on the web. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

ok i have the tone 730 also. i use it on my hd 8.9. i just got the 50.00 fire and while i had paired to the echo so i knew bluetooth worked i had never paired to the the little fire. when i tried to pair it would not discover. however a dropcam came up and i don't have a dropcam. anyway i looked in the instructions because remember i had paired it with the old kindle and my cell phone. so on page 6 it tells you how to manual pair.

turn off the headset
with the power off
press the CALL button and slide the power switch to the ON position at the same time for 2 seconds. to enter the manual pairing mode.
when the headset enters pairing mode the led indicator will show a solid blue light.

when i did that the lg magically appeared on the kindle. i really hope it works for you because bluetooth means a lot to me also.

I did try rebooting the HD7. It, by the way, is brand new. The Tone is an LG HBS-730. I am glad your Tone pairs great, but I have tried many things and have had no success. I have varied distance, made sure no other bluetooth devices were close by or turned off and tried different HD7 Fires. Am close to giving up. Thanks for the help.

did you try to reboot the fire. i absolutely swear to the fact that it does work. you know what i went to the lg tone plus and into customer reviews and typed in kindle and found reviews that talk about how great it connects to kindle.

It is NOT an answer and it was NOT meant to be helpful, least of all to you.

Cheryl, I am glad this headset works for you. I tried both of our LG Tone headsets on both of our Kindle Fire HD 7 tablets and no connection. Both tablets find both headsets but when told to connect it comes up with an "Incompatible" message. Have ordered another headset (Kinivo BTH220 Bluetooth Stereo Headphone - Supports Wireless Music Streaming and Hands-Free calling) because someone on the boards posted that this one does work. Thanks for the comment.

i have lg tone plus. it connects to both my phone and kindle tablet by way of bluetooth at the same time. so i can listen to music on the kindle and if i get a call it pauses the music and when i hang up it restarts. I have another pair meee runaway with microphone that are over the head that works fine.

This answer is NOT helpful. There are many bluetooth headsets that are not compatible with the Kindle Fire HD tablet. In fact maybe most are not. Many posts on this subject state that bluetooth headsets that support the microphone function ARE NOT compatible. After several days of searching, I have yet to find one still being sold that is compatible.

Thank you. I'm sure I'll try another one beside the one I have. ;-)

The ones that say they're Bluetooth.

There are hundreds. You want a list?

What kind of bluetooth earphones can you use with the new Kindle Fire 10?

In reply to an earlier post on Oct 31, 2014 12:07:01 PM PDT
Data transfer by Bluetooth isn't supported by the Fire. It may not be supported by your phone, either.

Hi I have paired the kindle hd fire to my phone but how do I send stuff to it

In reply to an earlier post on Oct 18, 2014 6:36:39 AM PDT
No. You can't download a transmitter. It's a piece of hardware.

I have a kindle fire HD 7-0, can I download a Bluetooth on I.

Okay thanks I got you. Drugs are the only explanation for this atrocity.
