I know, being lazy figuring one of you have a quick answer to exactly what this latest app permission is that has been popping up on apps lately.

*Allows verification of Google app Entitlements

In the past when I've tried to nail down a true non-double speak on an apps permission they are written to do the exact opposite and leave you scratching your head.

Yeah, I did type it into Bing (I avoid google as much as possible) and didn't quickly see an answer. Thus the lazy part, past bedtime so I posted here. I'll do more digging around when I'm more awake if someone hasn't answered.

The notification has the word Google in it and you avoid Google? Good luck with that.

I know I can't avoid google entirely, doesn't mean I can't be selective and careful.

I was wondering if the permission is actually a leftover from an app being brought over from the google play store. Thinking maybe it was a new requirement for apps in the play store, but being that the amazon candy flavors are different, the permission isn't required/used in this environment.

Ok, I've got no idea what you are on about. What do candy flavours have do do with anything?

And I've got to ask, why so paranoid about Google? Bing ain't any better.

I also want to know what it means it - very vague, you could be agreeing to anything. I won't download Disney, they want access to your contacts. Why would an app need access to your contacts. I will not download until I have a better understanding what the heck it is
